Dr. Rabia Mohammed Toor

I have been suffering frequent panic attacks for going on 3 years now. I had to see Dr. Toor in place of my docter that was on vacation. She spent 40 mins with me and understood my condition and the adiquit meds for what was going on. She also took time to look at my chart and understand me before seeing me. She asked all the right questions in a manner of how us as normal people understand. I think she is a great Dr. And would recommend her for anyone who wants a doc that will listen and then make a decision not just going in based on what she read in mychart. So get a A+++

Any physician who prescribes opioids is vulnerable to being duped by a deceptive patient; there is no degree of conscientiousness that can prevent it. There is also no justification for physicians to abandon their “truth bias” with patients; it is part of the relational trust that underscores a successful physician-patient relationship. In the context of pain, physicians may be motivated to abandon their truth bias out of fear of sanction for being duped. This fear may lead some to avoid opioids altogether, a position that is inconsistent with physicians’ obligations to the patients. She is letting me suffer with chronic pain and treating me like a drug addict. I even had my appointment cancelled and got a letter saying it was because of DRUG SEEKING BEHAVIOR.. yeah hello I have pudendal neuralgia!!! Not a freakin paper cut.. you are a doctor and you are obligated to alleviate your patients pain and suffering.. but no I’m just labeled an addict. Cool.
