Dr. Rachana Ashok Patel, MD

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Patel, while she and the office staff were courteous and professional office wait times were more than an hour each time even though there were only around 4 other patients the times I had appointments. Apologies were always given but no change in wait time occurred. Secondly and most important I would suggest to potential patients that if you are considering the PanOptix multifocal lens it is worth a visit to Dr. Schnipper as his price for the same surgery and lens is much more reasonable... to the tune of more than two thousand dollars less. This may not seem like much to some people but for those of us on fixed or working class incomes....well let’s just say I wish I had done more homework. I do believe Dr. Patel is a skilled, knowledgeable professional I simply don’t understand why the vast difference in price for the exact lens and procedure.
