Dr. Rachana Vora, DDS

I am thoroughly impressed by the treatment I've gotten here. I hadn't found a dentist in Boston since I moved (4 years ago), and would go to my old dentist on visits home. I missed a few cleanings over the past couple years and found myself with an awful toothache and no one to call. I knew it was bad, but I wanted to choose the right dentist who was knowledgeable and wouldn't rip me off (after a recent layoff, I had no insurance). I spoke with the receptionist, who scheduled an emergency consultation and was very calming when I explained my situation. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and transparency. Dr. Tran took x-rays and they has an excellent endodontist for a root canal. As nervous as I was about the entire procedure, Dr. Vora explained everything calmly and clearly. When I came back for my crown, Dr. Vora was again reassuring and informative about the procedure. She went above and beyond throughout my whole visit, made me feel at ease, and I came away… from this experience feeling so relieved I had found the right dentist! Their practice is truly interested in the health of their patients over trying to make money or falsely advising costly treatments. The front desk was always up-front about the costs. Dr. Vora stays informed on the most recent studies in dental health and is very skilled. I felt at ease with them the entire time, and will definitely be coming back!

The best dentist ever! This was actually my second visit and I figured I should probably give her a review since I really like her office. However on my first visit when I was filling out the paperwork, I realized I lost my insurance card but since I had 2 co-workers already using her services they took the time to lookup my information for me. They do email and text reminders which is great for folks like me who constantly forget stuff. In fact this was a reschedule because when they called to confirm my last appointment, I had the wrong date listed on my calendar. They were easy going about setting up this new appointment rather than giving a disapproving tone because of my screw-up. As far as the 2nd visit went, I was seen within a minute or 2 of arriving. The hygienist was friendly and asking about any dental concerns including one I brought up at the last visit, which shows me she actually reviewed my file before seeing me. I also inquired about a new night guard and… by the end of my cleaning they already had my insurance info on it and my total out of pocket cost should I choose to get one. BTW the hygienist works fast but never once did she nick my gums :) Everyone is warm, friendly and caring. Every step of the way they take the time to make sure you're comfortable and explain what they will be doing so you understand the process. Overall my experience shows me they value my time as much as theirs, they care about their patients as people, not just another file and I've never felt that they are trying to sell you something you don't need.

I cannot imagine how a dentist could be better than Dr. Vora. I had not been to the dentist for over 12 years until recently. I made an appointment at Dr. Vora's office only because of the proximity of her office to where I work. Only after the appointment was made did I bother to read the glowing reviews that have already been posted about her. Those reviews, however, still did little to assuage my fears of the dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning and found Dr. Vora to be exceedingly kind. She was not condescending or overly critical about my years of dental neglect. Instead she simply encouraged me to begin to get on the right track now. After discovering that I had numerous cavities (a fact I already knew) she set up an appointment with me to come back. Even in this regard, Dr. Vora was extremely accommodating as she made sure to work with my hectic schedule to find an appropriate date. The thought of having five cavities repaired filled me with dread. Of course, just… about everyone is afraid of the dentist, but my fear was such that over the course of more than decade I had put this act off even though I was covered by insurance most of that time. I contemplated cancelling my appointment, but didn't--in large measure because Dr. Vora had worked with me to find the right time for my appointment and had seemed so reassuring before. Its also worth mentioning that her staff was equally courteous and accommodating. Today, the day after my appointment, I feel fine and I have been telling everyone that, if they need to go to the dentist, they should go to Dr. Vora. I go back next week to get more cavities repaired (I had nine total). I donâ??t expect any different results from that visit, however, and I feel much more comfortable with the entire process thanks to Dr. Vora and her staff.

Very nice staff. Felt really nice there even though my teeth was extracted. Everything was explained and even more I was given an additional discount. Dr. Vora is the best dentist in Arlington. I can recommend this place to anybody.
