I work in the medical field (nurse), so I am really picky about who touches me. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Ash Bernal--she actually spent time with me (having no knowledge that I am a nurse) and was very thorough-almost to a fault. She's the type of physician we need more of--she listened to what I had to say and addressed my concerns immediately--and I can't tell you how many times my questions have been dodged by others. She even speculated what my weird and (rare) problem was well before she saw my labs!!!!!! I was blown away. Five stars across the board.

This is the worst doctor I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. She is now "practicing" at Haywood Regional Hospital. Horrible bedside manner and inaccurate diagnosis. Whatever you do do not let her treat you.

Dr Ash-Bernal is an excellent doctor. She has a good bedside manner and takes the time to make sure all questions are answered and you understand what's going on. There is a bit of a wait between the waiting room and exam room. On my first appointment, this bothered me. However, when she came in, I understood why there was a wait. She does not rush through appointments. Instead, she takes the time to really check everything out, asking and answering questions and spelling out options. Even though the appointments end up taking 2-3 hours altogether including wait time, I never leave her office without feeling that she's on top of things and my health is in good hands.

Fantastic care, spends a great deal of time with patients, educates beyond the scope tailoring plans for great cardiac health. Highly recommended..

Without reservation I would highly recommend Dr Ash-Bernal. She is highly educated and has each patients care always in their best interest. She save3d my life and forever I will be grateful to her.
