Dr. Rachel Lynn Barr, MD

I thought she was good at first, but Dr. Barr has no real interest in her patients, the communication with me was poor. The 2nd time I was there for a procedure and when I left I was more concerned and I didn’t even feel like I could trust her. And to top my experience they overcharged me and when I found that that my insurance in fact covered everything it took me a month and 5 calls with really rude staff for them to give me my money back. They said they will call me back and they never did, so if i don’t push they would’ve kept my money and the insurance too.

I just want to say that I wrote her a review on zocdoc but needed to write another one elsewhere because she is so amazing! She not only listened to all of my concerns and questions patiently at my appointment but she has been so amazing with email follow up (did not feel judged for all my stupid questions) and also with my Rx (problems and all). I feel she truly cares about patient care and is a wonderful human being. I wish she was also an OB so she could deliver my unborn children.

Dr. Barr lacks empathy for her patience and has indifferent bedside manner. She was very rush in her appointment and failed to explain the situation clearly without booking another appointment. She took the aggressive guess without enough supporting evidence. I would not recommend her.

First time patient had a very good experience with Dr. Barr and the staff.She made me feel comfortable took her time did not rush. Her bedside manner was excellent. I would highly recommend her.
