Rachel M Dowis

Rachel Dowis NP is the rudest health care “professional” I’ve ever encountered. The NP, Rachel Dowis is completely unprofessional in her attitude lacking empathy and care for patients. It’s clear by her demeanor, attitude, and the way she speaks to patients that she has a clear disdain her job. She was seeing a FOUR year old. Having a little compassion goes a long way. Didn’t even look at the patient or address them in any way. She abruptly left the room sending the coordinating nurse to tell us we can’t be seen to go to the ER. I asked to speak to Rachel Dowis NP again and she refused to come back into the room to even speak with me. She is a prime example reason of why some children don’t like seeing medical professionals and why urgent cares get such a bad reputation. Thank goodness we did go to the ER because while Rachel told us patient’s lungs sounded clear the very helpful ER nurse said lungs were tight & patient was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection. So she’s not… only mean, she’s inept at the utmost basics of her job. This career is not for her.
