Dr. Eglash has been showing utmost respect to my wish on what level of dental care I want to have. When my family and I first came to Chestnut Dental, my teeth and gum were not in the best shape at all regarding color, plaque, how worn, etc. I told Dr. Eglash I just wish to have 'just enough' treatment. Since then she had never scared me with 'potentially devastating long term outcome' for not choosing to have expensive treatment. She suggests me very reasonable treatment options and informs me of the insurance coverage for them. I have to mention about my daughter who's been seen by Dr. Eglash also. She has slight developmental disability, and any medical appointment is a huge emotional challenge. Dr. Eglash speaks to my daughter in a special way: sincere, humorous, encouraging, caring. I sense she is not just a licensed dental doctor, which requires great challenge to become one, but a person of integrity and has genuine deep care for human beings. Since Dr. Eglash became her Primary… Dentist, my daughter has been taking much better care of her teeth and gum. No one else, including me, succeeded to inspire her for good dental care. Chestnut Dental Cranberry had just opened. That office is literally 5 minutes away from my husband's new work location. He is aware of it, but he doesn't want to switch his dentist=Dr. Eglash, so he said he'll keep coming to the Shadyside office. My family and I are praying so Dr. Eglash will not move to somewhere we won't be able to follow..

I always look forward to coming back to see Niki (and Dr. Eglash) for my cleanings. Niki is always warm, friendly, personable and very receptive to any questions and comments. For someone like me, who has always been fearful to go to the dentist, the team in your office has made me very comfortable. I recommend Chestnut Hills Dental and Dr. Eglash to anyone I know who is looking for a dentist. Due to their care, my teeth and gums have never been healthier.
