Dr. Rachel Geffen Henderson, MD

Dr Henderson and the staff are very professional. When given an explanation of the problem she explains in detail so that I understand what my options are. I appreciate the patience she has with me making my choices about the problem.

Dr. Henderson , who I have seen for different injuries, is highly professional. She listens and then provides in detail the different courses of treatment. She takes time to answer all questions. Her manner is very caring and makes it apparent she cares about the patient. I highly recommend her.

I love Dr Henderson. I have seen Dr. Henderson at least 3 times over the past year and a half. She treated me for frozen shoulder and is now treating me for a different shoulder problem. I am very pleased with her services. She always listens to what I have to say about my problems. She gives me different solutions to treatment. She asks me to keep her updated. She sends updates to my primary doctor. I definitely recommend Dr. Henderson!

Really impressed with the time and effort spent. Dr Henderson put a tremendous amount of effort into getting me a clear diagnosis, got a consultation to verify and setup a treatment plan to give me a great non-surgical treatment plan. This not the first time she has helped me and I am so grateful to have her as one of my doctors.

I drove all the way from Tuscaloosa at the recommendation of my Physical Therapist after he did an evaluation of my knee. My appointment was at 1:30. I was not seen until 2:45 and Dr. Henderson spoke with me, examined me and discussed her diagnosis in all of 5 minutes. I even provided the assessment from my PT which I highly suspect was not even looked at because what she diagnosed me with matches none of what I have been experiencing. Had it not been a revolving door of people and she actually took the time to listen to what I had to say and what I was experiencing I may have considered following up in the 4-6 weeks if symptoms have not improved. I absolutely will not be doing that as that was an entire afternoon wasted. If the role was reversed I’m sure Dr. Henderson would want far better care than what I received.

I was able to get in very quickly for pain in my hip. Dr. Henderson was kind, attentive and listened. She did an X-ray and a complete examination and gave me a good plan forward. I highly recommend.
