Dr. Rachel Jacobs, MD

Rachel Jacobs, MD is dedicated Family Medicine doctor known for being compassion, personalized approach to care, attentiveness, genuine concern for patient well-being, and willingness to spend time addressing questions.

She graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Jacobs went on to complete both her internship and residency in Family Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Lafayette, LA, finishing. She holds professional memberships in the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

Dr. Jacobs’s journey into medicine was inspired by her grandfather, whose work as a physician left a lasting impact on their community. During her clinical training, she developed a strong interest in patient advocacy and care coordination, always striving to build lasting relationships with her patients. Dr. Jacobs enjoys hearing her patients’ stories and backgrounds, seeing how the bonds formed during appointments translate to …improvements in their health and well-being outside the clinic.

Outside of work, Dr. Jacobs enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. She loves cooking, exploring new restaurants, and hosting gatherings. Saturday mornings are often dedicated to her children’s soccer matches.
