Rachel Hope Ohlmacher, NP

Rachel graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota before earning her master's degree in nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She is a board certified family nurse practitioner. Most recently, Rachel worked at the Inner City Health Center in Denver, Colorado. During this time she functioned as a primary care provider for patients with both acute and chronic medical needs. Rachel also worked as a nurse with Unity Health Care Inc., in Washington D.C., where she provided primary care services to underserved communities and the homeless population. “All people are intricate, complicated yet beautiful beings. It is my calling as a healthcare professional to preserve that masterpiece. As a primary care provider it is my privilege to empower people with education so they can take the best care of themselves." Rachel has had a unique career path that has taken her to underserved communities both domestic and international. …She volunteered in Guatemala at an orphanage and Uganda in aprimary school. These experiences have given her the advantage of knowing about advanced medical resources available to all her patients. A Colorado native, Rachel is an avid baseball fan, she loves going to the summer series and being able to travel and watch her home team. When she isn't working, Rachel loves to knit, cook and spend time with her family.
