Dr. Kassenoff makes you feel like an idiot by explaining things in a condecending way. Even though I got to the appointment early, she rushed the visit and literally tried to walk into the room several times, within less than a minute, while I was still dressing when I clearly said I want ready. She was dismissive of my symptoms I explained I was having to her which made me feel like my heath concerns weren't valid. No doctor should treat a person that way, no matter how busy they might be.

Dr. Kassenoff has been my OBGYN for 20 years and I have to say, she's the luckiest doctor choice I've ever made. I made an appt with her when I fist graduated college because, well, she was close and took my insurance. And it turns out I hit the jackpot with someone kind, extremely skilled, compassionate, always timely and who really listens. She has never given me a piece of bad advice. And obyn is like a dentist -- you don't really look forward to seeing one -- but Dr. Kassenoff comes as close as humanly possible.

Dr. Kassenoff is wonderful - I met her 5 years ago when I was pregnant with my second and needed to switch practices. She's an all around terrific physician - knowledgable, kind, well-informed, communicative, and honest (exactly what we should all want in a doctor). Whenever I've emailed her or called with a question, I've always received a quick reply. She also always remembers things I've shared with her that probably aren't written in my chart, because she genuinely cares about her patients, and while this is an OBGYN practice, I feel like she treats the whole person. Couldn't recommend her more highly!

I am so happy that I found Dr. Kassenoff after I had to switch OBGYNs for insurance purposes after my first pregnancy. And I say this as someone who is incredibly picky, being in the health care field myself. She is an incredible physician - smart, caring, extremely honest and direct in her communication with her patients. I have always been treated with kindness and respect by her and the office staff at both the Brooklyn Heights and UES locations. She always returns calls in a timely manner and I love the thought and care that she puts into answering my questions both in person and by phone. I have been with her through 3 pregnancies now and have told all of my friends and family that she would be the person I would want in the room if any critical decision needed to be made for the sake of my or my baby's health because she is no-nonsense when it comes to important situations. Whether for routine GYN care or for OB care, I would highly recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Rachel Kassenoff is the best!

Dr. Kassenoff has been my doctor for over 10 years now. I had a horrible pregnancy which left me on hospital bed rest from 20 weeks on. Dr. Kassenoff came to visit me ALL THE TIME and didn't just check in and leave - she spent time with me and my family answering all my questions, and was just as concerned with my mental well being as well as my physical well being. She patiently provided me with all options available to me, when other doctors were quick to dismiss me. I honestly credit her with the fact that I have healthy twins now. Ever since then, I have gone to her and she has provided me with expert guidance and care. (I continued to see her even after I was finished having babies). She is excellent at being an ob/gyn and I trust her implicitly. I recommend her to many of my friends - and she has the benefit of taking insurance which many NYC doctors do not. She has a loyal patient following because we all love her!

I have had a wonderful experience using Dr. Kassenoff as my medical provider. She is a patient listener and thoughtful and thorough problem solver. She is caring and compassionate but also has a refreshingly direct manner of engagement. I have and will continue to eagerly refer friends and family to her medical care.

Dr. Kassenoff is the BEST! She is thorough, professional, kind and a straight shooter. She is very knowledgeable and always responsive. She is willing to take the time to discuss all medical concerns and explore options while treating the "whole patient". In the most stressful moments, she is there to calm things down and give the situation the proper prospective. She is equally attentive even if she is calling with a good report. Dr. Kassenoff is an exceptional doctor and person and that combination is a rare find. She is everything a physician should be and I am so glad she is my doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kassenoff's for over 15 years. I have always been able to ask my questions no matter how basic and she gives me as much time as I need. Her bed side manner is warm and thoughtful. I was surprised to hear she has some less than stellar reviews. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone I know.
