Dr. Rachel Leigh Kraft, DO

Patients are nothing more than protocols. Must make *repeated* calls to the office for Rxs or questions.

She is an awesome doctor. She talks and explains stuff in common sense terms. She is not condasending when discussing treatment plans

Dr. Kraft has been treating me in her office for migraine headaches for over a year. Every time I come in she asks me about how school is going and what I am interested in and really puts me at ease. She has done an excellent job working with me to find the areas of my lifestyle that contribute to my frequent headaches. She always asks me how I feel about starting a new treatment and when I leave her office I am confident that I have been heard and am optimistic about my health care going forward. I would recommend Dr. Kraft to everyone, she is an amazing doctor that is smart and cares about helping her patients.

Don't go, unless you like waiting for a long time for your prescriptions to go through despite you being on top of things and calling her office to remind her more than once. She comes off nice and attentive in the beginning but she's not proactive. Switching Neurologists asap.

I have been seeing Dr. Kraft for several. years now. She is Awesome! I would rate Her at 5 Stars! She is both Knowledgeable in all Aspects of the Neurology Profession, and knows how to Trouble Shoot when there is a Problem. She is always Professional, thorough, and has a terrific Bedside Manner. She always takes whatever time is needed to answer any Questions I have. I am glad Dr. Kraft is on my Medical Team!

I told her two times about my adverse reaction to a medication and she ordered it any way resulting in my hospitalization for exactly what I told her would happen

After a recent admission to the hospital, Dr. Kraft was the neurologist assigned to me as an inpatient. She missed the mark. Wanted to say my symptoms were all from stress. I found out a day later that I had a toxic level of a maintenance medication in my system. While she wanted to play psychiarist and blow off any other tests. She also missed a nodule on my thyroid on CT scan that another doctor found 2 days later.

I went to Dr. Kraft on a referral from my PCP. I was having migraine headaches again and was experiencing dizziness and confusion. I had no trouble getting in for an appointment. That should have clue No. 1. I have never submitted a review for anything before, not restaurants, travel, anything. But my appointment with Dr. Kraft was so distressing, I felt I needed to do a review. I will tell you I went in with a list of symptoms (which probably seemed a little extreme, but that was how I was feeling and what I was experiencing) and a previous copy of an abnormal brain MRI. I was not feeling well at all that day. One of my issues is I have a hard time getting thoughts and words out. Basically, as soon as I said I was hypothyroid and was bipolar, I saw her body language change and she completely focused on those two things. I felt like I had been profiled for the first time by a doctor, ever. I have heard it happens but never felt I was a victim of it before. She was asking me… questions and asking for history that had absolutely nothing to do with why i was there. She was rude, dismissive, she interrupted me frequently and kept changing the subject when i was trying to talk and get things out. She began administering neurological tests I guess you would call them. Asking me questions about my surroundings, etc. She then continued to do the majority of the testing while I was sitting in a chair. She didn't even ask me to get on the examining table. I did not think that administering balance tests and things like that while I was sitting down was appropriate and was a sign she was totally dismissive to my symptoms. I even called the office when I got home to ask why the majority of tests were done while I was sitting down and I never got a call back. She then, very rudely, said she was "obligated" to order tests because I was in her office. I was in so much shock at that point in the appointment by her treatment of me and lack thereof, that I was just ready to get up and walk out. She had even asked me at one point if I ever got in trouble for paying my bills late. So inappropriate and not in any way having anything to do with why I am in a neurologist office. So I left with labs to do and a new brain MRI scheduled. I thought the labs would take a long time and I waited a few days before checking my patient portal. Well, it turns out they were posted the same day as the labs were drawn. I was checking 5 days later. Keep in mind that I had not heard a peep from her office or her staff. I had some labs come back positive for a possibility that I may have an autoimmune disease. I then sent an email to her office asking for her to contact me and give me direction or suggestions on what would be the next step. She actually had the nerve to say that my results were a false negative and she felt like no further testing was necessary. I was speechless. Not only did she not treat me with dignity, she dismissed my positive lab results, and then did not even have the courtesy of following up with me. Then my new brain MRI had some findings that I would like some explanation on. But, guess what, she said everything was normal and of no concern. Because of her treatment of me and total disregard for my well being, I have now had all my medical records transferred to a different health care system.

Little interest in doing anything other than writing a prescription and getting me out of the office.
