Dr. Rachel Cecilia Mercer, MD

Good diagnosis. However, She seemed very busy and treated me like average patient. However, I am very different then average local patients. She ignored my special circumstances and my unusual desires that did not fit the usual routine. Perhaps she is too busy for outliers like me?

I seen Dr Mercer on June 29 2026. As she started the exam, I started to ask a medical question and she immediately stopped me and said no were getting down to business. She then told me that I didn't go to my follow up with an appointment with my surgeon after my last surgery, which is completely false. She said that I stopped taking antibiotics drops that I was supposed to take for life .I was never told by anybody that I was to take them forever. I took them until they ran out of refills. She told me that I havnt showed up for the last 7 appointments which is a lie. I am blind in my right eye and would never jeopardize losing that eye. When I started to tell her that none of that was correct, she stopped me and said that she wasn't going to listen to my nonsense. She also didn't dilate my eye to get an accurate exam.

Always a pleasure to see Dr. Mercer. After 3 years of cataract surgery, my eyesight is 20/20…and I’m almost 70! Ricki, the tech, was amazing & very easy to talk with.

My appointment with Dr Mercer was great. Victoria was the assistant that did all my testing she was the best. Hope she know his comfortable she make me feel. Dr Mercer is the best. Everything was great .

Very pleasant visit. Very little changes in my condition. Will decide later if I want to change glasses. It would just be for vanity reasons. You know just wanting new glasses. Probably won’t change. Thank you to doctor and technicians.

I have needed corrective glasses since I was 12. I am now 72. I developed cataracts quickly, I researched the doctors approved on my insurance plan and Dr. Rachael was highly recommended. Upon the first diagnostic visits I felt comfortable and relaxed. I knew I was in good hands as she was knowledgeable in the latest technology. I had my second cataract removal surgery today and it miracle like. For the first time in more than 60 years I can see without corrective glasses or contacts. I was nervous at first but quickly discovered she knows what she is doing and cares deeply for her patients and achieving the best outcomes for each one. She is the BEST!
