Dr. Rachel Rubin, MD

I am very surprised to read the first review placed on this website. Dr. Rubin is one of the finest doctors I have ever seen. She is extremely patient with me and takes the time to explain her reasoning for her recommendations. She is the only doctor I have seen who has given me her page number so I can contact her directly. I have several difficult medical problems and she has helped me a lot over the last 6 months i have been going to her clinic. I lost my job, and had to go to the county clinic for the first time and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor who obviously knows what she is doing and goes out of her way to be helpful. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr.Rubin has emotional outbursts almost every time I have seen her and has open anger issues.She is always angry with me it would seem for showing up for an appointment. Every time I have an appointment with her, she is angry and tells me the reasons that I should not be there. Yet, every time, I do leave with a prescription or several, so obviously, I did need to be there. She is unprofessional in my presence, given to fits of rage and meltdowns if a nurse comes in and tells her that there is a walk-in. She yelled and banged her hands on the table and became furious one time this happened. She appears to be highly overwhelmed by her duties as a doctor, and is always on a low simmer concerning her temper. I have never been made to feel welcome in an appointment with her, in fact it's the opposite. I am sick to my stomach the day I have to see her because I know that she will be rude, possibly yell, and at the very least, tell me why I shouldn't be there wasting her time, before… she has even addressed my symptoms. There has never been one time that I had an appointment with her that there was not something that needed medical attention.Each and every time I have an appointment with her, I am told how many patients are waiting to be seen after me, and she proceeds to rush through anything I might try to tell her or an exam. This happens every time I have an appointment with her. She is also so overwhelmed that she gets facts confused, as in why I was there in the first place, when I saw her last, and again, what I am doing there now, Here's where the anger really comes in to play, she will tell me that a medical problem that I had seen her for before was gone, when the reason I was there was because it wasn't. This, before she even examined me. More anger... and of course, there are seven people in the waiting room waiting to be seen and you are wasting my time. It seems that I have to beg her for treatment every time because she doesn't want to be bothered with me,because I am wasting her time and because there are x amount of people after me. She will treat me, but only after being rude and verbally abusive, every time.
