Dr. Rachel Ruth Ramos Flores

Not really sure why this doctor has such a low rating as I had nothing but a pleasant experience with her care.

This lady should not be a doctor. She is terrible and doesn't listen to clients. I hope Kaiser gets rid of her. Despicable!!!!

Horrible patient care. I have a life-threatening chronic condition and I am constantly not able to get my prescriptions refilled and my doctor needs to authorize any refills. Even when I request refills WELL IN ADVANCE, she does not refill or authorize at all. The only way I am able to authorize is by calling the emergency line to get an emergency physician to authorize refills. The last several times I have needed emergency doses, I have ended up paying OOP elsewhere, costing me almost $700. Very poor patient care and continues to be a pattern, I am seeking healthcare support elsewhere.

I've been a Kaiser patient in SF since the ACA went into effect. For the most part I've been pretty satisfied with the quality of the physicians over the past several years. But Dr. Flores appears to be an exception. I was assigned her because my primary care physician retired. I met her for the first time today, coming in for a visit because I bled yesterday (a proctological matter, sorry if you are eating right now). It's unfortunately a new experience, and it looked like a fair amount of bleeding. I arrived about 3 minutes early to the check in. Fifteen minutes later, she came into the room in a hurried manner, looking irritated, and said we only have a few minutes to do an exam. I replied that her entrance was a funny way to begin as my primary doctor, whereupon she looked daggers at me. No apologies whatsoever. She brought in a male orderly or nurse as a "chaperone", and then performed a 5-second digital exam. I asked her why she didn't use a scope, and she said it… wasn't necessary. So I took my bloody self home and selected a new physician. I hope he is a kinder soul.
