Dr. Rachel Marie Sullivan, MD

After having Dr.Kimple for almost 40 years it was a big transition to undertake. I wanted to try a female Doctor so I choose Dr. Sullivan. I think one should go in with a open mind and not compare a long time Doctor to a much younger newer one. I mean after all she is dealing with the connection of you as her new patient.Lets’s be fair we as patients have a variety of personality. Each time I returned to Doctor Sullivan I felt more comfortable. She is very bright and takes time to explain things and also listen. I fill I can share my thoughts with her comfortably. I am a senior lady of 79 so somewhat set in my ways. She has given me her professional care and I appreciate the way she cares for my medical conditions. I would like to add her assistant Andra is a super gal. I always enjoy seeing her during my visit.

I have been a patient of Rachel's for almost 2 years following the retirement of my past physician. Finding a new physician is not fun. I feel very fortunate to have become a patient here. With the kind, caring, compassionate care that I have received, I cannot imagine the things said here are genuinely reflective of Dr. Sullivan. My experience has been superior. I feel comfortable in her office. She has grace and she takes time to listen intently and respond thoroughly to my medical needs. I feel that communication is inviting, open,honest and nonjudgemental. I leave her office feeling educated, happy and healthy. She is a wonderful Dr. and I am very thankful to have found her. I love that she is young. I am middle aged and thankful that I found such an amazing physician for the next many many years to come. I have recommended other family members to her, but as would be expected, she rarely takes new patients which is a testament to her excellence in my opinion.

My elderly mother goes to see her without complaint. She is very comfortable with her and Dr. Sullivan is patient with her. She talks to her even though my mom does not understand everything.

I found Dr. Rachel Sullivan to be rude, dismissive, and sadly lacking in the critical communication skills needed to establish a cohesive doctor-patient partnership. Also, her eye-on-the-clock impatience shows a genuine disrespect for the time, effort, and resources her patients have invested in seeking her help to manage their health issues. A recent letter of complaint about her poor attitude resulted in a phone call from an office manager, who basically said to me, "That's too bad."

Although Dr. Sullivan may have a doctor degree, I don't believe she has good "people skills." I found her manner to be abrupt, with little thought or empathy to her patient. "By the book," with little effort to connect to the patient.
