Rachel P Sundstrom, MS, CGC

Rachel Sundstrom, MS, Genetic Counselor, joined the genetic counseling team in June 2023. She grew up in a small farming community outside Madison, WI. Rachel earned her BS in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology from Drake University in 2018, with minors in Biology and Chemistry. In 2023, she successfully completed her MS degree in Genetic Counseling from the Indiana University Genetic Counseling Graduate Program. Rachel is dedicated to providing patient-centered care. She strives to ensure that every individual is heard and empowered to make informed decisions about their health and their family's well-being. Through a collaborative multidisciplinary approach, Rachel works closely with cardiologists and other experts to help patients and their families understand their genetic testing options, address their needs, and gain valuable information on genetic aspects of disease. Her expertise allows her to guide patients with confidence and provide comprehensive support tailored …to their unique circumstances. Outside of her professional endeavors you can find Rachel immersing herself into the great outdoors, experimenting with new recipes, and snuggling with her two feline companions.
