Dr. Rachel Lynn Waldman, MD

I have had the best experiences with Dr. Waldman. She truly listens, and actually pays attention to what I have to say. Then, she addresses those issues in a caring, professional way. She is clear and easy to understand in her explanations. She takes action right away rather than make you wait another 3-4 months. It may take that long to see the results, but at least you are doing something! I/we (because it all does affect my husband as well) are so glad that we found her, and would highly recommend Dr. Waldman to anyone in need of a good, efficient, understanding Rheumatologist.

I think she's caring and she's professional, but she doesn't have much intuition or ability to take cognitive leaps - I think she can be unfocused and unable to look past the textbook. I feel like I have to push hard for explanations and it is VERY hard to get an emergency appointment, which can be upsetting and difficult to cope with when there's a crisis.

She is wonderful! Caring, professional, takes time to listen and did not make me (as a patient) feel rushed. Would recommend her to anyone.

This doctor was interested, caring and knowledgeable. She listened to everything I had to say (which was a LOT)without interrupting and then said that she would figure out what was going on one way or the other. She is a fantastic doctor and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone...especially with obscure symptoms.
