I am not quite sure why Ms Brilliant chose this profession, she clearly does not have empathy for her patients nor is interested in listening to their health concerns. She comes off as very arrogant and completely lacks bedside manner. She seems more concerned about getting in & out of her pt’s appt as quickly as possible than diagnosing, caring or treating her pt

Dr. Brilliant saved my life. In a routine visit, she identified a life-threatening condition that I believed to be something minor. But for her immediate, serious and caring response, I faced a serious prognosis and dangerous outcome. My life was saved because of her astute observation. I think she's fabulous.

My experience was exactly the same as below. I am tired of wasting time & money for the doctor to ask me the exact same questions (including the seatbelt & bike helmet questions) every time I am in the office. She does not pay attention to any issues on want to discuss, just goes through that list of questions.

Focused on computer Q&A not the patient. Asks elementary school questions about wearing a seatbelt and wearing a bike helmet, on each visit. Am I 5? And couldn't you make a note from the first time and register the asked and answered. What this does is lowers my confidence in any doctor's ability to really notice and diagnose an issue if they are perceived to be following a rote list on a computer and not genuinely facilitating a natural dialogue with their patient.

I would never recommend Dr. Rachelle Brilliant to another person. When meeting a doctor for the first time, you would imagine that they would want to have a brief conversation to get a solid understanding of your personal & family medical history. She did nothing of the sort. When I asked specific questions, she cited "studies" that were counter to common knowledge. When I told her my husband and I were trying to get pregnant in the next few months, she said taking prenatal vitamins wasn't necessary and instead had me take a HIV test. When I told her that I have been deficient in Vitamin D in the past, she said "ok, we'll check that too, then. Something to bill for." She was interested in giving me a the Flu Shot, Rubella Shot, and a Tetanus shot. It's clear to me that she is the type of physician who is more interested in increasing her billing instead of the health and wellness of her patients.

Brilliant is a mediocre doctor, but the staff at this place and appointment scheduling need to seriously consider the lives of others. I went in for an appointment and had to wait 1 hr and 28 mins to be seen. The office was not even that busy, I was the only one in the waiting room! I approached the receptionist multiple times telling her that I had a class and needed to be seen today. She told me that the doctor was still with a patient and that most offices are like this! No, lady, most doctor offices are NOT LIKE THIS! You schedule appointments for a reason! If someone needs more time, schedule another appointment. It isn't rocket scientist being a receptionist. Don't get me wrong, it's great for the other patient, but I was NOT a walk in, I had an appointment at 3pm, not 4pm for a reason. Stick to the schedule people and thanks again for making me late for my class.
