Dr. Racquel Puranda, MD

Racquel Puranda, MD is a compassionate Family Medicine physician who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care that meets individuals where they are. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Agnes Scott College and her medical degree from the American University of Antigua, College of Medicine. Dr. Puranda is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Puranda is passionate about helping patients meet their healthcare goals, prevent hospitalization, and live fuller, healthier lives. Whether she’s helping a patient manage a chronic condition or celebrating a wellness milestone, Dr. Puranda is deeply committed to collaborative, supportive care that feels personal and empowering.

She has a special interest in geriatric medicine and is driven by the opportunity to help older adults maintain a high quality of life. Her approach is grounded in building strong relationships with patients by getting to know their stories, their goals, and what matters …most to them.

Outside the exam room, Dr. Puranda enjoys exploring Georgia’s hiking trails, kayaking, and diving into a good drama or comedy, especially anything starring Adam Sandler.
