Dr. Radhika Prakhash will systematically ignore your calls, waste your time, treat you with indifference, and THEN take a personal call during a private appointment. If this is the kind of doctor you are looking for, then she's the one for you.

The doctor was very sweet and caring! I've only had one visit so far, but she treated me like we've known each other forever. I was really comfortable discussing things with her. I usually have a ton of questions and really want to understand what's going on with me, but Dr. Prakash was totally patient and answered all of my questions in detail and explained anything I didn't understand. I can definitely say I will be going back to her for a long time!

She was very thorough and explained everything. I was nervous to go to the doctor and she made me feel comfortable.

This doctor's office tends to be closed a lot!! I have called for an appointment several times through this week and continue to get their answering service. I called on previous occaisions and the same thing happened. I think the doctor is very sweet but I can't help but question whether her unavailabilty is good for patient care.

This office took my appointment a week prior to the office visit. I told them I have out of state insurance and they said they never herd of it and that was it, no questions were asked. The moment I arrive for my app they decided to check my insurance. This takes over an hour. The receptionist calls me up and says we are not in network and you will have to pay $2,500 up front for your visit. I asked if she was sure and she said yes so I left. I get home and call the insurance company myself and they are in network. My insurance places me on hold and calls them to inform them that they are in network. I then call the Dr's office to tell them I need to be seen and had already taken off work. The girl says ok but hurry. I arrive and sign back in. They take 2 people back and I ask if I will have to wait much longer. The girl states in a rude tone," well let me take my 4 o'clocks back and I'll be back for you" and slams the door! I could not believe this. I check with the receptionist and… she says we have you down for 4:30pm. It's 3:45pm. I tell them I was never given that time and the girl said to just hurry back.I finally see Dr. Prakash and she seemed annoyed, this is my first time to this office and meeting her. I tell her why I'm there and that I need some medications refilled. She said one of my medications is a narcotic and I have to see a psychiatrist to have them refilled. I never had to see a psychiatrist to get the medication so this makes no sense. She heads for the door without addressing some of the reasons I'm there. She does this 3 times and I have to say, "um, excuse me but what about......?" each time. I finally ask her if she was aware of the situation I had with the staff and she replies, no. I go on to tell her and she interrupts me and finnishes my sentences! She said, "your insurance company had them on hold for an hour and that the insurance wouldn't tell them if we were in network or not and we shouldn't have to find out". She made it seem like it was my fault and never apologized for anything! No one in the office apologized for anything!! I do medical billing for an ambulance company up north and the first thing we do is check insurance. I have had out of state insurance for years and have seen numerous doctors and never herd of anyone having problems with my insurance. Unbelievable!!
