Dr. Rafael Eduardo Jordan, MD

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m extremely upset to this day and heartbroken that I was treated so horribly by Dr. Jordan. I’ve had the most horrible experience with this doctor during the last weeks of my pregnancy and the entire delivery. This was my third baby (first son!). This was suppose to be a wonderful experience but instead, it was a nightmare. During the last several weeks of the pregnancy, during each prenatal visit, he would never explain what is happening, what type of tests I was having. He basically ordered them and that’s that. I would see him probably for 5 mins during each visit. He would wave his hands around telling me I’m all fine. I didn’t even have the time to think and to ask what is going on. He made me wait in a room for over an hour several times while he was outside gossiping and talking to his colleagues. I was scheduled in for an induction as I was experiencing high bp. During my delivery, he decided to show up 12 hours into my induction. I was in… severe pain at that point.He comes in doesn’t even say hello to me and my husband. I’m laying on bed gritting my teeth from pain. He decides to check me to see how far dilated I am. He stops and says “8cm! Now give me a push”... I do as he orders. He checks me again and says NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I’ll come back and better see 10cm. Are you kidding me?! He makes me push at 8cm which is extremely dangerous, and then makes a rude comment that I need to do better. Me and my husband requested delayed cord clamping and specifically told the staff and him (it was also written on the board in our room) that we wanted to get it done. We didn’t want the cord being cut straight away. The dr didn’t listen and cut the cord as soon as our son came out. I couldn’t believe it. Still to this day, I’m in tears thinking about it. It’s not what I wanted. The last thing I’m going to write and it’s the most disrespectful thing I’ve ever came across coming from a doctor. My son was under the lights due to jaundice and we had to stay in the hospital for extra two days. My husband was in the room With me and I was in the bathroom at the time this happened. Dr. Jordan busts through the door, says hello and says this: “well you would of been going home if it wasn’t for this JACK A**” and points at my baby. My husbands jaw drops. The dr sees my husbands reaction, gets extremely embarrassed and rushes out of the room. I come out of the bathroom and my husband tells me what happens. I’m so disappointed and so hurt because I can’t believe that a Doctor would do such things and say such things. The whole experience was a nightmare. Please stay away! I wouldn’t wish this on anybody!

Dr.Jordan is an AMAZING doctor! Always in a great mood and it is clear how passionate he is about his job. He is worth every minute of the wait and more. Cannot recommend him more!

Dr. Jordan is very professional, and a good listener. He diagnose and has taken care of my medical condition for over 15 years. He is always in a good mood. He always takes the time to explain, and answer all the hundreds of questions that me and my husband have. We have gone through a lot, and he always has been incredible. Thanks so much for caring, and going the extra mile for us!

He was great, very compassionate and shows concerns from the beginning to the end. He took the time that I needed, and answer all the hundreds of questions I had about my condition. Thanks Dr. Jordan!

it's the worst that there can be incompetence of that clinic

Dr. Jordan has been seeing me for 8 years and has delivered my daughter 4 years ago. He is precise and honest. He is involved and never seems to be in a bad mood. I love this doctor. The best Augusta has to offer.

Dr. Jordan has been involved with me and my children for 17 years. He is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most thorough doctors I have ever met. He takes the time to discuss everything in a way that I can understand. Thanks for what you do and keep doing a great job.

I love this doctor. I have know him for 12 years, he takes care of me and my daughters and has delivered all 5 of my grandchildren. I moved to Florida over 2 years ago but I still make the drive to his office.

I wanted a doctor who had good bed side manners and Dr. Jordan fulfilled my expectation.
