Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and is the best pain doctor I’ve ever had

Dr. Baig is amazing!! He repaired my neck and my low back, 2 different procedures, and he has changed my quality of life dramatically!! I appreciate a Dr. who is straight forward and does not sugar coat the risks with surgery! Dr Baig is thorough and makes sure that I understand what we will be doing, including all the details, risks, and important information! I am so grateful!! I am happy to say that I am regaining strength and feeling in my arms, hands and neck that I have not had in years!! My low back surgery was 2 weeks ago today and, despite the pain from the nerves waking back up, I feel SOOOOO much better. Sciatica is no longer ruling my life!!! I am so grateful for my knowledgeable, talented surgeon -Dr. Baig!!!!

It has been 2 years since my surgery with Dr. Baig. I still remember and I am disgusted by his lack of bed side manner and disrespect of me as a person and my profession. Now that my back pain is back, I am reminded to NOT go back to him. I was referred from North American Spine.

Dr Baig, his PA Michele and his other PA Stephanie all showed a great deal of compassion when I went in with severe pain. My condition had deteriorated very quickly and I needed treatment ASAP. There was no position that helped to relieve the pain any more and I was desperate for help. I did not want to take pain pills as they just make me feel sick and don't help the pain very much. I was crying and impatient and they were very understanding and kind. After an exam and reviewing my images they knew exactly what to do for me. They began treating me immediately and Jenna got me in for a procedure the next morning. It was the first of three, but even after the first one the pain has greatly diminished. I cannot tell you what a relief it is. It was torture trying to get through a day at my new job. Now I can get through the day and do a great job. Thank you so much to Dr. Baig and his staff! My husband will be coming in next!

I'm a patient of Dr. Rafath Baig and am proud to say that! My procedure was a fusion of C-4, C-5, C-6 and C-7. I was treated in an out patient surgery center and his staff at the surgery center treated me as if I was family. I work in heavy construction and was able to return to work after 1 week from my treatment date, WOW! I've made a full recovery in record time and am able to continue my life now pain free. If you're experiencing any kind of back or neck pain your first choice for treatment should be consulting with DR. Baig. his office staff is also there for his patients and will make you feel very comfortable. Thanks Dr. Baig for all that you have done for me...

Dr. Baig was very clear, concise and professional with my husband. We expected a surgeon to recommend surgery but he did not. Instead, he was honest and let us know what we could do to best help the situation.

Sought help from 3 Drs for back pain but kept coming back to Dr. Baig for help. Suffice it to say he was the only one I trusted. Unfortunately for me, he was firm that I was not a candidate for his services but gave me other ideas and a referral to another Dr.. After 50 yrs in business I know the real thing when I see it. Finally, he has very good handwriting too.

I went to Dr. Baig because of dealing with sciatica a year. He took care of it, plus straightened my lower spine. He sure gave me back my life that I had over 18 years ago. Now I can walk without pain and feel like I have so much energy. I liked how he told me from the first just what it would take to 'fix' me. He did exactly what he said he would do. Dr. Baig’s staff in the office and at the surgical center were wonderful! Within a month I was recovered. I would recommend Dr. Baig to all who need him. I know if he can help people he would if they would just give him the chance. I recommended him to a friend. That friend saw Dr. Baig about his problem. Dr. Baig was straight forward after listening to him and looking at the MRI, and said there was nothing he could do for him. That tells me Dr. Baig is an honest doctor. He may not be able to help everyone who seeks his help, but if he can, I know he would.

I am so disappointed with choosing this doctor. His bedside manners are the worst I have ever seen in a medical professional. He lacks a care for his patients, I think its all about the money for him. After just 4 months of my surgery he explained there is nothing more that he can do and the chronic pain and numbness from by leg to my foot is not his concern. I really think this Dr. needs to reconsider his Code of Ethics that he agreed to when he became a DR. He makes you listen to what he has to say, but if it doesn't align with what he agrees with then your just plain out of luck. He is just plain rude and condescending. Seek another Doctor if you want someone to care and relate to your pain.

I trusted his opinion and he ended up doing way too much surgery then needed on me. I have more pain now then ever before. Please get several opinions. I am in pain management now and will be forever. He does very little post op care. You have to depend on you regular doctor for care. Do I need to say more??
