Dr. Rafya Sandhu

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The front desk recptionist here that sits to the left as soon as you come in is an incompetent liar. Her job is to tell people their copayments, but she is even unable to do that. She lied and said that she told me that I would have a $185 copayment my next appoinment. She never told me that , and I did not have the money with me. I drove 40 minutes there and had to get childcare just to be told they can’t bill me or do the work. I have always payed my bill here, and never had an issue. I tried to explain this to Dr. Sandhu , who is very unprofessional. Her response was “ why don’t you call your husband to send you the money, that can’t be that hard”. I even tried to explain to her that’s not the point. She doesn’t know me or my life.If I were aware of this co-payment I would be better prepared.Please , please , please do not waste your time with this place. Dr. Sandhu rushes your dental work anyway. I really should have read the reviews before… coming to this place. They hire non-english speaking receptionist so that they can pay them less. Meanwhile they are horrible communicators.

No recomendable para ningun Hispano, el servicio del staff deja mucho que desear, en mi caso la secretaria me amenazo con madarme a cobro juridico por dos dias de mora en pagar un servico, ademas lo hizo violando los derechos como paciente mandandomelo decir con otra persona. Ella tenia mi numero de telefono y nunca me llamo a decirmelo.

Love that office, very clean and friendly, When I go for a cleaning my teeth have a great feeling of mint , and I get a great cleaning. Never nervous to go there for a cleaning.

So first off let me tell you I absolutely hate dentists and I hate going to their office and I had really horrible insurance and I needed a root canal, I spoke with people at her office telling them of my situation and how I wasn't able to afford a root canal they were extremely nice about the whole process, she was extremely busy that particular day but she still took me and did my root canal. Based on the x-ray that she took she had told me normally she would send me to a dental surgeon but she still performed the root canal even though she didn't have to. She was extremely sweet through the whole process, really took care of me and explained everything even though she didn't need to but she did. She was so understanding of my situation and she truly is the nicest dentist I have ever met, I will be going back to her forever and no one else. She is extremely informative and you can tell she loves what she does and knows what she is doing!!! Wonderful person inside and outside!!! I… would recommend her to all my family members and friends!!

Dr. Sandhu is a fantastic dentist. She is highly skilled as a dentist. She also has the type of personality that is calming and puts her patients at ease. Her staff is also highly personable and qualified. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to make a trip to the dentist a positive experience.

I know this doctor for two years, I am very pleased with the results, I now have a smile and I don't need to cover my mouth anymore. Thank you

The ease of scheduling an appointment was quick and I was seen within a few days. The wait time was minimal and my cleaning was done really well. i dont have insurance and doctor worked with me on the costs. I recommend this place. If you speak to the doctor she is very willing to work with you if you don't have insurance and can't afford certain procedures that you need done.

Dr. Rafya Sandhu made the following unsolicited statements directed towards and in front of our 11 year old daughter on her first visit for x-rays and cleaning. As you read these, you will understand why our daughter was shocked, extremely upset, and cried for quite some time. We politely brought to Dr. Sandhu's attention that our daughter got scared by Dr. Sandhu's statements, and in future to discuss such issues separately with us, however, Dr. Sandhu did not feel any need to acknowledge our concern, and instead directed us to go to another practice. She stated that "this is how I talk to my patients and run my practice, and I will not change for anyone. If you don't like it, you can go to another dentist." Statements made by Dr. Sandhu while our daughter sat in the dentist chair getting a cleaning: "Her cross bite is alarming. She is going to have trouble eating because her teeth are not aligned. I can bet my life that she will need surgery if something isn't changed. The… operation will be painful. This is going to keep getting worse and worse. How does she eat though? She may be managing but the cross bite will give her trouble. This underbite and cross bite will affect her smile. She is a girl so she has to pay attention to these things." When we tried to collectively discuss this in the waiting room, she yelled that our child was the first ever to cry, that we were terrible parents, she felt sorry for our daughter, and then attempted to prod our daughter (who was still crying from what Dr. Sandhu had said earlier) to say that Dr. Sandhu was not mean to her, to which our daughter responded through her tears that "you were not mean to me. I was scared by what you said." Of course none of us had accused Dr. Sandhu of being mean and her inexplicable hysteria at this point made it impossible to engage in a mature exchange. We are still trying to wrap our head around what happened. However, we feel compelled to write this while it's still fresh so other unsuspecting parents, and most importantly kids are not subject to unnecessarily harsh statements.
