Dr. E Ragnar Peterson

I had major thoracic surgery performed by Dr Peterson and I’m extremely grateful. My case did not allow a lot of options and Dr Peterson came up with the best option for me. I would recommend him to anyone with my type of problem.

Dr. Peterson took the time to make sure I understood my diagnosis, the procedure, and was very detailed in the follow-up, and he was able make time quickly. He also volunteers internationally, which is wonderful.

I feel that I found the go to guy for hernia surgery in Dr. Peterson. At my first appointment, he explained my issue in detail, and told me what he could do to fix it. He explained the different types of hernias and the different types of repairs and told me which would be best for me. After surgery, I did feel some discomfort, but I never did feel what I would call real pain. I was able to control any pain with Ibuprofen and Tylenol. At my post op appointment, he explained to me that he repaired my hernia in such way that there is less than 1% chance that I will ever get a hernia again. If you're looking for a hernia surgeon, you need to put Dr. Peterson on your list. You won't be sorry.

I feel Dr. Peterson is a very good surgeon and always had my welfare and comfort as his top priority. He explained every thing in detail and was very willing to listen to me and answer any questions I had. Mly family was very pleased with his care of me and also explaining and answering any questions they had. I will certainly recommend him to any one who needs a great surgeon.

Did not explain surgery ahead of time in a way a non doctor would understand. Still in pain 2 years after my hernia surgery and no one can explain why, not even him.
