Dr. Rahat Taswir, MD

Dr.taswir is a very kind, hard working, honorable kind of man and I don't understand why everyone is writing bad reviews about him. He is a doctor who won't keep you waiting and provides the help you need I couldn't.of asked loft a better doctor like Dr.Taswir

If you are looking for any type of warmth and compassion please stay away from this doctor. He simply does not care about his patients and is only seeing you to dispense medications. He doesn't listen to a word you say and is COLD.

Dr. Taswir is not the kind of doctor you go to if you're at the end of your proverbial rope. He is not the doctor to go to if you've been deemed "treatment-resistant" and are looking to try off-label or older treatments. He isn't the warm, compassionate doctor who will take the time to familiarize himself with your treatment history and current concerns. He may not even remember you after seeing you with regularity for over two years. He IS the doctor to see if you want somebody who is punctual, succinct, and willing to dispense benzodiazapines with haphazard regard. From my experience, his office seems to operate more like a revolving door for drug-seekers. After two years and thousands of dollars invested with Dr. Taswir, I am no closer to the successful management of my mental illness. If anything, I've lost a great deal of hope in modern psychiatry and find myself LESS optimistic about managing my mental illness than I was prior to seeking Dr. Taswir's help.

Very good dr. Never have to wait in the waiting room long, always on schedule compared to 99% of other drs, level headed and has decent bedside manner w/o being sappy or insincere.He didn't have to diagnose me so I have no experience with him in that capacity.
