Dr. Rahib Mansoor Poonawala, MD

So I made an appointment to see him, he’s in my network and made him my primary doctor. My insurance told me that they didn’t have the address where he’s practicing from in their system so before I get there have someone in their office call their client relations number. I wrote it down and provided it to them. The office keeps calling me back and saying they won’t do that and that I need a claim. I asked them if they even tried calling the number. They said no and snickered. No one in the office wants to call and do a 5 minute phone call so the doctor can get a new patient and I’m not charged out of network. To add to it they can hear me getting upset and the lady at the front desk is laughing at me asking me why I’m raising my voice. I spent 45 minutes with my insurance to find a doctor taking new patients, finally find one close to my house, all they had to do was call and add that address for the insurances network since the doctor is a participating doctor and they didn’t and… they also mocked me. I don’t know who’s working for this doctor but I can’t believe what I have witnessed.

I love Dr. Poonawala. I have been seeing him for almost 10 years.

Have seen many a Dr. in the past, Dr. Poonawala is by far the best, Dr. follows up with you on every issue to ensure good health continues.

I read good reviews about this doctor online but I was very disappointed in person. He wasn't listening to me, didn't ask the right questions, kept interrupting me, said he would send a prescription to my pharmacy but he didn't, I had to call and wait four almost 2 hours to get a simple prescription, made me come back three times for what ended up being a simple diagnosis. The only good thing was how easy it was to get an appointment, but now it makes more sense why he has so many open appointment slots.

Dr Poonawala is an excellent doctor and has a friendly, caring staff that are professional as well.

I went for my physical, and they sent a wrong code for the blood test for which I was charged. When I called the doctors office, one of their receptionist said that they will fix it. When I called to follow up, another manager said that they cannot fix it. I will never recommend this doctor again because of their unprofessionalism.

Knows what he is talking about andf works with you to resolve your issue. Not looking at something else or rushing you when you are meeting.

He's a great doctor-caring/concerned-makes you feel at ease and calm-very professional-gives you a variety of options-overall the best doctor i've been to so far
