Dr. Rahul Mishra

Dr. Mishra is a good doctor, but unfortunately the office staff at the Frisco location completely ruin the patient experience. My wife was in serious pain and needed a follow-up visit after completing all her tests. The front desk refused to offer any flexibility and only gave an appointment a week later. When I politely asked if she could be placed on a waitlist in case of a cancellation, the staff member coldly replied, “This is it, do you want to take it or not?” — completely dismissive and unprofessional. In another instance, when we requested our test results for a second opinion, they insisted my wife come in person to sign a release, even though this could have easily been handled by email. Then they demanded $9 for the first 30 pages of results. When my wife questioned this, another staff member finally said they could email them at no charge — but even then, it took three days, three voicemails, and finally an angry message threatening to complain before someone called back… saying they “lost the paper” with her email address. This office makes patients feel harassed and unimportant. It’s disappointing because Dr. Mishra himself is excellent, but his staff’s attitude and lack of compassion completely overshadow his good work.

I had been over medicated by another pain management doctor in Plano. I came to Dr. Mishra for a second opinion and he titrated me completely off ER pain meds in 10 months and has me on anti-inflamatory meds as needed. I still have breakthrough pain sometimes, but it sure feels good to have the "fog" lifted. I have more energy, my business is better and so is my family life. Dr. Mishra opened the door to a new beginning. If you are just a drug seeker looking for a pain management doctor to write you scripts, this is not your guy. Dr. Mishra truly cares about his patients short and long term well being, both physically and emotionally.

If I could rate with no stars at all, I most definitely would!!!! I have never been so poorly treated by a doctor, and his staff!!!!!
