Dr. Rahul R Modi, MD

ABSOLUTLY NOT: He put on protonix and kept giving me refills. I was not informed it was supposed to be short use/8 week trial. But they accepted my request to fill it every time (I was on it for years). I saw a doctor about a year ago that freaked out when she saw how many years I was on it, she then informed me how the drug works and immediately discontinued. Unfortunately, because of his ignorance/laziness I developed a b-12 deficiency due to the long-term use (figured that one out before they even told me), I was also informed that my bones have taken a hit, and I should be cautious on what I do. He was primary a couple years ago. His energy was always very intense, and he had no guidance or more information/education on what is wrong with me, but I was too young/immature to understand there is actual good doctors out there because he was basically all I knew.

Dr. Modi is arrogant, rude, dispassionate, and does not give a care about his patients or what their concerns are. I brought my son there for a physical and for an issue with his ear. His partner is our usual physician but she was away on leave. He walked in arrogantly, said this visit is being recorded, and quickly and abruptly asked a couple of questions. My son asked him to check his ear as a while ago, he had pain and bleeding from it. The doctor actually responded “so what, what do you want me to do about it? Why don’t you go see a specialist and figure it out? What do you want ME to do about it?” My son asked him to look at it, he did, and just said I see wax, go clean your ear out and go see a specialist. What else? And since he was so rude, my son was appalled by him and said that’s all. I also had issues with him as our regular physician is on leave and he again was rude, and unhelpful, and I had to wait 4 days for any response to treat a UTI. And as you may be aware, waiting… just one day for a UTI is painful and can get much worse to a possible kidney infection and hospitalization. I would definitely not recommend Dr. Modi to anyone as his disrespectful behavior and uncaring attitude towards his patients ruins his bedside manner. My family and I are all in healthcare, and he is the new trend of all doctors and nurses nowadays. It is sad to see someone care so little for other and speaks to others like they are below him. Zero stars. He was disgustingly rude

Wonderful doctor! By far the best doctor I've been to. He's thorough and responds immediately to any questions I have.

Dr Modi has everything I was looking for in a PCP. He is attentive to the patient's symptoms and works to address them, quickly identifies course of action, gives meaningful advice, reads very carefully test results, picks up things missed or ignored by other doctors. I am very glad to have him as my doctor.

Put me on medication on first visit. Ended up in the emergency room.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone
