They have given my son extra vaccines.. Why!?.. Idk. They are so unprofessional they call to give the worse news from test result instead od setting up an appointment. The other doctor rush you and dismiss you like you and your sick child is unimportant. I personally advice eveeryone to run from these doctors. They even forgot to tell my baby had asthma!!!! It took me 4 months just so my son coyld be seen!!! This doctoe office is a joke including all of the doctor working in it.

Never appointments , you always see new PA who always change your kids medicine. Just a really bad management over all

She used to be my doctor until the end of eighth grade when I moved 5 years ago when I was 13. I loved her. She made me laugh every time I came in.

You get a appt at 3:30pm it's 5:15 pm and no one comes to notify you that there are behind or whatever excuse is made up

Dr. Valencia is an excellent Dr. and is great with children, she is good with follow-ups and good at diagnosing baby. However her front office staff is horrible. Her front office staff is very rude. They will loose your appts and then are rude to you if your not on time for a rescheduled appt. which wasn't your original appt., even if you were just 15 min. late because of the inconvenience of having your appt. changed. They never answer the phone and don't get back to you til 2 days later. And then they fail to schedule you appt. My lil one was very sick and needed to see Dr. for excessive vomitimg they would not give me an appt. til 1 week later. I asked to speak w/manager and they just dropped my call. If your child is sick and you want to see Dr. which most parents do, you will not see Dr. til 1 week later.

After having a TB test, Dr. V misdiagnosed my 1 year old with TB. The area where the injection was administered was red and she said my baby definitely had TB. She immediately prescribed her a very toxic medication and insisted she must take it several times a day. She also sent us to a TB specialist at Loma Linda. The specialist there did not conduct a TB test he just assumed that Dr. V. was correct and told us all of the scary details about children with TB. So after being scared to death for our baby and force feeding her poisonous medication, something told me Dr. V. was wrong and I asked for a second test at her office to confirm the TB diagnosis. Her NP, Neill, read the TB test this time and said it was negative. He said a little redness was normal and didn't mean she had TB. Dr. V. was on vacation and I was not able to speak to her about the conflicting opinion given by her NP. I took my daughter to another high desert pediatrician and once again I was told my baby was… negative for TB. Dr. V. finally returned from vacation and I spoke with her about the two negative TB tests and she still insisted my daughter had TB. My husband and I decided to take her to a specialist at CHOC and do another TB test. Once again, for the third time, we were told the test was negative and our baby did not have TB. We spent over $3,000 for all of this nightmare that was all caused by Dr. V's misdiagnosis. I tried contacting her several times and she ignored me. I sent her all of the negative reports and never got a response. No apology, no nothing. I asked her to reimburse us for our medical expensed that were caused from her misdiagnosis and never got a response. I do not recommend this dr. at all.

I loved Dr Valencia however I just changed my daughter's to a different pediatrition due to the rude and abrasive front office staff. I needed the ID number when I changed medical plans & who ever answered the phone said "they don't have one" when I asked to speak with someone in billing I was left on hold for 18 minutes. This was just the final straw because every single time that I have gone into the office they usually won't stop their personal conversations to help me & when they do it's always with an attitude. Not to mention that they mispronounce my daughter's name EVERY SINGLE visit & call her a boy. Very unprofessional.

I had an issue with one of the P.A's in her office and once I explained to the office manager, I was assured that I would only see Dr. V from then on. I have agreed to meet other P.A.'s when trying to get in with a sick child and most of the time they accommodate us. I have been going to her since 2001. My oldest daughter was born with a tumor in her 'lady parts'. It was very painful for her due to the skin constantly growing and becoming thin around the tumor. Dr. V and Mary did everything they could to get us a referral to Children's Hospital. My daughter was born three months early, Dr. V always took time to answer our questions since she was only 4 pounds. Mary ended up taking pictures over to the medical group and arguing our case in front of the board. We got the referral and met with the doctors down the hill. My youngest was born five weeks early and weighted five pounds, three ounces. When Dr. V came to see me in the hospital she remembered my oldest and asked how my husband… was doing in Iraq. She makes a point to know her patients. She is an amazing doctor and I would not change her for anything. We have changed medical groups throughout my husband's employer changing insurance plans but my one request was to keep Dr. V...my girls love her and most of the time I get along with staff. Having the relationship I have with the office, most of the nurses and staff know my daughters. I would wait for an caring doctor many times, over someone who rushes in and rushes out. Quality not quantity is what is important.

I actualy love dr.valencia but you make an appt. to see her and you get someone else..when you do get someone else and they understand the problem ,then when you come in for follow up you somehow end up with someone else and they have another opinon, then i end up going back in with an even sicker child a week later..sometimes i wait 3 to 4 hours and end up coming in 3 times/3 copays..the lab reports arent given the attention they need.. i had a son with scarlet fever who needed a special blood test needed at the time of flare ups and was walking by the lab one day and a girl recognized my son and said hey we didnt get enough blood for that sed rated test, we sent that to your md to tell you..i was never called..my son was referred to loma linda and they never followed up on it or would help me. my son had an xray a month after having chest pains, sinus infection,ear infection and had finished his antibiotics..the xray showed bronchitus and sinus inflammation..i was called with that… report and asked if he should be on more antibiotics and the girl said he already had some..um, but hes still sick should the n.p. refill his antibiotics and get him an inhaler and sinus meds?? she goes you wanta follow up? how bout next week? uh.??? i asked to bring him in to see the np that afternoon and wait so he could be seen and get well now..ive been told they will always take me,ill have to wait on sick side but i will be seen.she said nope, so i went down anyways and was told if my sons chest hurt to go to er..um, that was the complaint she saw us for last time, she refused to see me and no one would call me for 2 days and they would screen my calls..they said they would give me an appt for the next day at 1pm but i have other kids that i cant pull out of school everytime another needs to be seen,well they said they would give him a note, but i asked what about my other 2 kids ill get dinged for no valid early pick up..no note for them..crazy,crazy i say..the office staff wasnt listening to my problems regarding this and thats why i showed up after picking them all up from school i cant believe they wouldnt put my sons health 1st and just see him like many times before on the sick side (i waited once from 2pm till 7pm) the manager refused to return my calls, the np refused to return my calls, and now my son is coughing still and this is the last time i go back there..too many staff personalities not letting me speak to my doctor,or np..i will now interview the doctors first before i accept them..so now ill find a good office and take my kids there..not up here in hesperia though!!! this staff needs sensitivity training..

I have been taking my son here for years after my doctor's in Barstow Ca couldn't find what was wrong with my son.They found out it was his lungs and they have been treating him professionally ever since. I appreciate all they have done for my son and I.
