Dr. Raiza Perez, MD

Great doctor . I have been seeing her for many years .Her staff is great, so nice to see that there are doctors that really cares about their patients. Highly recommend.

Too bad they don't let you leave because negative star ratings. I moved to Miami in 2020, and on my sister's recommendation, made an appointment with Raiza Perez. I just cannot bring myself to use the title "doctor" because I have never experienced such a disorganized, unprofessional practice. She has had a receptionist cancel and postpone my appt. a minimum of three times--maybe four--the last one being today. The only shabby excuse is that the doctor won't be in. I have never in my 64 years of life experienced such shoddy treatment, nor have I ever had to post a review on Google Perhaps Ms. Perez needs to remind herself that other people/professionals have jobs, responsibilities, and lives, and that as a docto, she's expected to behave like one. Perhaps she should also be reminded that if she cannot KEEP appointments, she should not TAKE appointments. She should be embarrassed by this sloppy behavior.

This doctor does not like to give referrals. Even when the specialists recommend you have a procedure because of your family history or health problems you've had that require check ups, she deems it unnecessary. Even after repeatedly calling for a referral (calls from the specialists office and myself), I've missed appointments with specialists because of their failure to send referrals. My husband had an appointment with his urologist and we asked they submit the blood work and PSA results repeatedly, we get to his appointment and the urologist did not have the results. It was a waste of time because he didn't have the PSA results. I am a senior citizen and I've never experienced anything like this nor have I ever filed a complaint about a doctor before.

I saw this Dr few years ago, was happy with her but her front desk staff was horrible. Gave it another tried and made an appointment for 9:00 am, they explained to be there by 8:30 to be the first Patient in with the Dr. did as I was told, was there at 8:15 with all paper work ready, the Dr went into another room with a patient who got there way after me, took 40 minutes with the patient, I had to leave without seeing the doctor. No respect for appointment or patients time.

The doctor is great; she listens and takes her time with you. However, she has a very rude lady, I think her name is Maria, working the front desk. She appears to be lazy, and is ill-natured. Never goes the extra mile, at least for me. Just does the minimum that is required. I wish she would be replaced.

I've been coming to this doctor for years and had always had a good experience despite the usual 30 minutes to an hour wait every time. Staff is always courteous but in this last visit I noticed the doctor to be snapping at her staff and everyone looking a bit frazzled and stressed out. You could feel the tension in the office. The doctor seemed not to be in a good mood throughout the consult. Not sure if she's going through something or was just having a bad day but it was definitely not the kind of visit I'm used to having with her. Hope it improves but this last visit honestly left me not wanting to return here.

She's the best doctor I've ever had. She's brilliant. I love her

Told me I have breast cancer over the phone without properly explaining anything, she seemed in a hurry....?!? I'm confused and saddened any Doctor would do this.
