Dr. Gupta is a very kind and caring individual. He takes time to figure out the problem and is always positive and hopeful . He is a very good Doctor and I appreciate all he has done for me.

I went to Dr. Gupta about 20 years ago because no one else could find the reason my asthma kept coming back; Dr. Gupta took the time to analyze my habits and eventually came up with a reason for my asthma attacks and I am very pleased and have not had an attack in over 5 years. He has taught me what to look for and how to handle it. I would recommend Dr. Gupta to any of my friends. To me he is fantastic!

Dr. Gupta is the best doctor ever. He has been my primary care physician for many years. As a matter of fact, he is not only my primary care physician but most of my family members as well, ven my mom who has never valued any other doctor's opinion but yet, highly respects Dr. Gupta's. I have also recommended others to him who find him to be the best. Dr. Gupta is very intelligent, patient , kind and extremely thorough. He is also a good listener and will refer you to another doctor if your problem is not in his field of expertise. He even follows up with the diagnosis. All of the doctors he has referred me to have also been wonderful. Dr. Gupta does not do guess work, he will get to bottom of your problem by running tests and like I said even referring you a different doctor and will personally call to check on you. His staff is also wonderful. Always professional, pleasant and helpful. Never had a problem with any of them. I wouldn't trade Dr. Raj Gupta for any other… doctor in the world!

Dr. Gupta is a wonderful caring intelligent doctor. I have been his patient for many years. I feel very fortunate to have him as my primary care doctor.The staff could definitely be improved. They tell you tests will be ordered or forget to call in your prescriptions but they are very personable.

Dr. Gupta had his diagnosis set before even coming in the room to meet me (and there were no charts for him to read yet and go off of). He talked much about how he is not like other doctors because he listens and tries to learn the life of the patient and pull the problems from that. This idea is nice in theory, but he didn't listen to anything that I had to say, interrupting me to interject things that I was not saying, and steering the conversation towards his pre-determined-diagnosis. I came in with severe and obvious problems breathing, and he tried to convince me that I was allergic to peanuts, that I was allergic to chocolate, that I was wearing the wrong coat, that I was wearing the wrong hat, that I must have down pillows on my bed, and that other doctors (my allergist specifically) did a poor job by not recognizing these allergies and not adjusting my diet. The problem that I have with this is that I am not allergic to any of these things, and have never shown adverse… reactions to ANY of them (in fact, he's the one who brought each of them up..."do you eat dessert?...do you put chocolate in your dessert?"..."that's your problem"), and the 5 prescriptions that he threw at me (nasal spray, antacids, steroids, etc...) while telling me that this is why he listens to patients rather than just making assumptions, will do my lungs no good as I left the office struggling to breathe worse than when I came in (not to mention that he gave me nothing in terms of a rescue inhaler to help with immediate reprieve). Luckily there is such a thing as a second opinion, and other doctors are much more helpful. I would expect someone who claims to be a leader among respiratory education centers to recognize simple symptoms and not write asthma off as a peanut allergy that has never been a problem before (especially since I told him directly that I have not eaten peanuts in the past few weeks ANYWAY).I will not be going back to Dr. Gupta, not because of his nursing staff or his receptionists (they did a great job)...I will not be going back, because Dr. Gupta does not listen to his patients, and Dr. Gupta spent more time talking about himself and why his methods are better than my previous doctors, than he did talking about my struggling to breathe while sitting on the chair in his office.
