I had to do a second MRI with contrast due to having a lesion on my brain. When I called for the results, I left a message. Dr. Katara called me back, and when I asked about the results of the second MRI he blurted out - "You have to do an MRI with contrast!" extremely rude. I replied - "I already did the second MRI". He said "oh, let me check" and mumbled something and hung up. This is while I was waiting to hear if I have brain cancer. Dr. Katara has no empathy and no bedside manners. Shame on him. I will NEVER go back.

Treats symptoms, not the patient, isn't interested in listening.

The office is alittle hard to get thru to, they frequently hang up on your call, but Dr. Katara is worth the trouble! He is very caring, taking the time to have a conversation with my Mom and even giving her a hug on the way out!

I think there should be more doctors like him. He is caring and friendly and is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Katara came with a good recommendation, however, I would not give the same. He is very thorough with labs, blood work, meds, etc. but, spends a max of five mins with each patient and doesnt allow for q & a at all. He does not welcome any suggestions or questions in treatment. He is very cold in nature and not very personable at all. His answer for migraines seems to be medication, and more meds. Also, his office has NO evening appoinments, so I have had to take several days off work this year.

Found and diagnosed my sickness after 2 others couldn't figure it out. He found and treated me for psuedotumor which is rare and hard to diagnos. With him, dr. Jennifer hall, and dr. Rodney samuelson I have my life back. They had a team effort. Neurologist, neuroophthmologis (hall), and neurosurgion (samuleson), I can see and free of head aches! Great dr!
