Great experience!

If you care about your mental health do not see this provider. I was new to this practice and scheduled with another doctor that had to reschedule. I was told I could see Dr.Shah and if I wanted to switch I could. I saw him only under this circumstance as my friend had highly recommended the practice. I agreed to try a treatment plan of his. When it didn’t work after a month and I tired to go back in my original rx that I walked into that practice on and have been on for years he refused to rx me those needed prescriptions. I then scheduled an appointment with a different provider as he told me he was okay with that. Then he decided that He didn’t want me to see any other provider in that office and wouldn’t let me switch. When I spoke with the office manager I was informed I couldn’t switch providers and would have to schedule with him or go to another practice. So here I am weeks later with zero of mental mediations, two daughters and no doctor. One of the medications I was switched… to wasn’t even written correctly. There where 90 pills and it was written as take one daily. When my I noticed a change in my mental state I called the office and a nurse informed me I was suppose to increase the medication and take two a day. Which is not in the instructions on the bottle. If you care about your mental health and want someone to take you seriously and not be more concerned with the power they hold then I would highly recommend running as a fast as you can from this man. I also had to call the emergency line a few times and the receptionist informed the complaints for this man are endless and suggested I talk to the office manager because she also felt something should be done about this man because she gets emergency calls about him not getting medication correct all the time and that he refuses to write patients medication they have been on for years. I did complain to the office manager and she also didn’t take it seriously.
