I would want him for me or any family member the future if needed

I was operated on by Dr. Mahidhara in 2009 at University of Michigan. He performed a double lung transplant and an additional surgery 7 days later. He was very professional and gave my family great comfort as well as explained fully how the procedure was done. My follow-up post-surgery was also a very pleasant experience. I would refer him to any family member and/or friends. He put me and my family at ease before, during and after my surgery.

I am only 55 years of age and had a terrible experience with Dr. Mahidara. He slipped with the instruments during surgery and permanently damaged my voice. I developed pnemonia 4 days aftr surgery. I am still healing and in excrutiating pain and it;s been 7 months after surgery. He was vey disrespectful and condescending to me. It was like he had no respect for women. I just found out that I am a candidate for cyberknife and all of this could have been prevented.

Dr. Mahidhara has a terrible bed side manner and lacks respect for his patients. He is also very egotistical and speaks down to his patients. I was very disappointed.
