Dr. Raja Khalid Saleem, MD

I have been a patient of Dr.Salem for almost nine years but as of 9/19/2017 I will be looking for a new Dr. I have a very bad case of shingles and called for an appointment and was given one really quickly. When I got to the office I was told because I owed some money to the Dr I couldn't be seen. Now I have paid off many large bills from this Dr in my nine years but the woman behind the counter basically told me to pay or get out. I believe that when a few dollars is more important than a patient's health and safety then it is time to find a new Dr. I even tried to pay with a credit card and was told checks or cash only. I live on social security and only get paid at the end of the month so they here was no way to come up with cash. I just think it is awfully wrong to put money ahead of someone's health and safety. I will be paying off this Dr bill as soon as possible and will find a Dr that cares more about their patients than a few dollars.
