I had an appointment at 3:30. I was running late due to backed up construction traffic and called office to advise that I would be late. I was on hold for 10 minutes of the drive. I arrived at 3:47--2 minutes past the grace period. The receptionist told me that I would have to reschedule because " you missed the grace period by 2 min. and it is Friday afternoon and we all want to leave." I asked her to check with the doctor and reconsider because of it only being 2 minutes, and because of the traffic situation and because I had tried to call on the way but couldnt get through. Also advised of upper abdominal pain. She went to the back and then said.....Its Friday afternoon. The doctor is finishing with his last patient and then we are all leaving. She was very rude and sarcastic with me, smirking, as she spoke. I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism a a medical practice. I will not be back to this practice.

I was seen for Hep C which I contracted through a transfusion in the 70's. I have ESLD and Dr. Sappati has done endoscopy with bands. He has a wonderful bedside manner and truly seems to care about his patients. A little hard to get an appointment unless you call a few weeks in advance.
