Dr. Rajan Jhanjee, MD

I had Dr Jhanjee perform rotator cuff repair surgery on my right shoulder in May 2025. He wasn’t sure if the tear in my rotator cuff was the cause of my problems. He should have recommended a second opinion. He recommended the surgery and I trusted him. I’ve since seen 2 professionals that said they would not have recommended surgery. He never came to see me after the surgery to let me know how things went. I had issues with my shoulder falling back too far right out of surgery which I complained of at every follow up appt with his PA. This progressed to my shoulder blade falling out of place and eventually my whole shoulder fell apart in August. 10 days later it took the left healthy shoulder with it. Both shoulders fell backward. I now have debilitating nerve issues in both arms, down my back and into my legs and in my face. When I finally saw Dr Jhanjee in August since I never saw him at any follow up appts, he would not order a second MRI of my shoulder. He sent me on to a… specialist, which he should have done to begin with. No Dr. has seen this complication before and no one can help me now. This surgery by Dr Jhanjee has ruined my life. You will not get compassion or empathy from him. He was quick to wash his hands of me and send me on to someone else with no follow up. I’m not sure what went wrong in this surgery, but I would not recommend this surgeon. If he calls needing surgery the “low hanging fruit”, I would not recommend having him operate. It means he doesn’t know what’s wrong. I hope I can spare people the heartache that I have experienced.

Couldn’t ask for a better dr. He is so knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. He has done Total Knee Replacement, steroid shots, and Carpal Tunnel surgery for me. He is the best and I’m lucky to have him as my Doctor. Can’t say enough good things but Thanks a million.

He has no care for your well being

I had so much pain before surgery, I could not even raise/ use my arm. I was unable to sleep which wears on your mind and body. The entire staff was remarkable! I had a complete reversed shoulder replacement and the team was there with me prior surgery and even months after surgery. I will recommend Dr. J and his team to anyone. Thank you!!

I saw Dr. Jhanjee and his staff for three visits last fall through this winter for a break in my shoulder. I didn't need surgery, but felt he and his team explained things and left me with good expectations of my recovery. I am back to all my regular activities 4 months after the injury. Thank you "Dr. J"!

I felt my problem was addressed well and received good treatment. Read reviews here prior to seeing Dr. Jhanjee, but friends said he was great, so I went to him anyway. I don't recommend trusting the negative reviews.

Works for Workers Comp Insurance companies and makes up stuff all in favor to them. He all most never finds anything wrong simply because they pay him to do so. Spends all about 5 minutes and becomes an expert on your case.
