Dr. Rajan Khosla, MD

Needed a colonoscopy, he put down that i needed a diagnostic vs a preventative, i didnt know this was a thing until it was time for the procedure, which i waited 2 months to get. The reason this is relevant is because i had to pay out of pocket for something i didnt need vs my insurance paying for it. I told his office about it but said they couldnt do anything about it. I told them id rather cancel and they seemed to try to help by changing the surgical office making it sound like i wouldnt have to pay out of pocket, just to learn that i still did have to pay because he hadnt changed his recommendations but this was the day of the procedure. I'd never go back or recommend him or his office.

Dr. Khosla was confident in his diagnosis. He listened to me, answered questions, and was just an overall gentleman. The office staff was lovely and helpful. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy that were administered on time. I was well taken care of and felt valued as a person!

Dr. Khosla provides quality care for intestinal issues. He is extremely knowledgeable with a very pleasant disposition. He listens to his patients and truly cares about their health. Both my husband and I followed him to his new practice at Sonoran Gastroenterology because of his care.

Dr. Khosla has worked hard to get me well and keep me well. He knows his stuff and takes the time to explain and educate and listen to me. I have seen him for a decade now. My husband sees him as well for his regular colonoscopies. I was thrilled to hear that Dr. Khosla & Dr. Lowe started their own practice together (Sonoran Gastro). They are seriously the two TOP docs for gastro out there.

Dr. Khosla is such a professional! He gives a very honest opinion and makes the visit very comforting. He is very knowledgeable in his field which helps to really build the trust and makes for a great experience.

My experience as a first time patient of Dr Khosla was less than impressive. Other reviews are dead on; he began the visit by telling me what was wrong with me without asking the reason for my appointment. He just looked at the generic questioner a new patient completes in the lobby and began to diagnose from that. When I could finally speak without him interrupting, I explained where my pain was he discredited my explanation and proceeded to push a colonoscopy on me. I asked if we could first do a blood test and ultrasound and he said they wouldnt be as effective. How is pain in the esophageal area related to my lower entestine? Then he said I should do both endoscopy and colonoscopy. He seems quite smart but is not a good listener.

I don't recommend using Dr. Khosla. I've been treated by him and his staff for over a year. From the beginning I have felt like every visit was nothing more than him going down a checklist of steps. Part of diagnosis IS going over a checklist, but when you start prescribing the same medicine that was proven ineffective on me previously, its one of a number of signs that displays lack of detail in his work, and lack of care for his patients. I have spent over a week in pain without prescribed medication because he prescribed the wrong thing, and then did not cover his assistant's voicemail while she was out of the office.... leaving his patients to suffer in the meantime.

Went to Dr Kosla regarding gastritis issues. Dr only interested in colonoscopy and did not address gastritis questions. Tried to see another dr in same group spouse had seen and liked and was told cannot switch doctors within practice. Now looking for another doc that might actually address my issues

Still don't under strand why i'm nauseated all the time, I take neausea medication all the time, I'm sick of it. I feel dr. Khosla is doing all he can, and is a very good doctor, States " that I might have colitis, but it feels and hurts more lake an alcer.

My experience with Dr Khosla was amazing. Very less wait time, scheduling was easy, the staff was courteous and had a lot of respect for the doctor and had nothing but good things to say about him. He was very patient, heard all my issues and had answers to all my queries. He took the time to explain what was causing all my symptoms; and the diagnosis was spot on. I am so glad I went to see him as my health is so much better now compared to a month ago when I went to see him.
