Dr. Rajan Perkash, MD

My husband and I recently had an appointment with Dr. Rajan Perkash. While he is clearly knowledgeable, our experience left us feeling uncomfortable. Throughout the visit, the explanations felt very rushed. There was a lot of information shared quickly, and it was difficult to process everything in the moment. When we asked follow-up questions to clarify details, he appeared frustrated, as though the information had already been covered. This made it intimidating to ask for further clarification. As a result, I felt somewhat pressured when it came time to consider the procedure he recommended. Medical decisions are significant, and we would have appreciated a more patient, open, and reassuring environment where questions felt welcome. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as patients truly value feeling heard, supported, and comfortable when making important healthcare decisions.

Rajan Perkash, MD and Allen Shah, MD Incorrect Diagnosis of Sciatica insisted upon for 10 Months. Expensive not appropriate treatments ordered. Ignored diagnosis of Diaz-Olson of injured thigh muscles and attachments. Less than 1 star

I went into his office with questions. My MRI showed a multitude of problems. One of the questions I had at the beginning was, if I would feel a lot of pain during the epidural injection and he told me that for somebody like me, who had pain syndrome, he was quite sure that I would. When I let him know that his comment suggesting that I merely had a syndrome was hurtful and dismissive, he said, “Well, that is what you have, a syndrome”, he went on to add that if I had a problem with it, then he was very concerned about my mental health and that I needed psychological therapy, leaving me stunned and extremely upset. Doctor Perkash is rude, uncaring and egotistical!

Dr. Perkash was very precise diagnosing an injury from a skiing accident where I flew forward in a summersault landing on the back of my head, compounded by a rear-end car accident. I was unable to turn my neck, experienced dizziness and was unable to perform my job as a typist and was referred to Dr. Prekash. Throughout my treatment, he methodically performed specific neck excercises and showing me which ones to use at home. After several months of treatment, I was in remission. I consider him to be an excellent doctor.

I regret spending time and money for this expensive visit to see the doctor that does’t care, dismisses questions and doesn’t even suggest to follow up to see if his recommendations helped. But they didn’t. I am going to see another doctor in a much worse condition than I was before seeing Perkash.

I have been having thorasic pain for 2 years. After my MRI and X-ray, I was seeing this doctor and was looking forward to it as to get proper diagnosis and treatment. After seeing this doctor I was depressed and confused. He straight away told me that if you didnt recoved in 2 years do you expect to recover now? I was afraid to carry any further conversation with him. He is extremely rude physician...never ever see him... He told me after an appointment that after my x-ray he would call me same day....I did not even receive a call in 2 days...
