I like Dr Raj been going to him for a while now he’s easy to talk to and listen to what I have to say

I've been seeing this Doctor for several years. He's always seems very caring and attentive to what I say and answers all my questions and I've had no problems. My husband recently switched to this Doctor and finally, he's getting him well His last doctor just always rushed him in and out , never doing any blood work or urine samples to check on his diabetes, plus was told his bronchitis was allergies and didn't give him anything for it. This doctor is great. I'm so happy he's starting to feel better. So glad he switched to Dr. Raj.

Had first and only visit with this doctor today. In my opinion, he is a terrible physician, incompetente, arrogant, defensive and uninterested in listening to his patient. I do realize that there are people that shop around, looking for doctors to prescribe pain meds... and I agree that doctors need to be wary. In my particular case, I have been going to the Lakewood office since having to switch to Obamacare in January. I usually see Karen, who is awesome. After hustepping wrong and hurting my back, I went to see Karen two days ago. She prescribed a muscle relaxer, and no steroids because I am already taking predisone. I did not ask for or even mention pain meds. The next day, with no relief, I make another appointment to seek some relief and direction. This time, since Karen was off, I had to see someone else, who prescribes Tylenol with codine. I know this and nothing will be about the same, but accept the prescription to at least try. Turns out that no pharmacy has this… medication because of supply issues. Fine, another day of exexcruciating pain. I make an appointment for the next morning at their other clinic where an actual MD will be practicing, hoping again for some relief AND some plwn to deal with this. So, this morning, I arrive at 8:30 am, and am finally seen by Dr. Annamali at 9:50 am. He barely performs the minimum of an evaluation, and it is quite obvious he is thinking I am some kind of pill popper. He leaves, then after several minutes returns and tells me I have to give a urine sample, but will not tell me what for. FINE... I give the sample, and after waiting even longer, he returns with two prescriptions, but clearly with an attitude. He says the were checking urine for blood cells (sseriously?), and here are two prescriptions. The pain medication is Narco. I ask if I can take two if needed, because I know from past experience that the 5mg dosage is not always sufficient. I have had several surgeries in the past and have taken this medication. Now he gets even more arrogant and defensive, telling me not to DICTATE to him about prescriptions! He won't even allow me to explain, he just goes on and on in a rant. In addition, he fails to explain the second prescription witch turns out to be a steroid, that if I were to have taken, could have caused serious problems, because I AM ALREADY TAKING PREDNISONE! I provide my actual name for this review and stand behind it 100%.
