This is one of the worst doctors i have ever been to ,If you must go ,here is what to expect . On a good day the highest level of care you should expect is incompetence and misdiagnosis from him and his physician assistants,I almost died from the misdiagnoses and his non educated way of prescribing prescriptions ,if it wasn't for the pharmacy at Walmart catching his mistake i could have been dead.I ended purchasing over 2 thousand dollars of prescriptions he prescribed that my insurance wouldn't cover and it was a misdiagnosis!!!!!this doctor should in no way be practicing medicine

This man is the rudest Doctor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have been in Bastrop county for 20 years having moved here from the Houston area. Needed a local doctor. I had a problem with my back from sitting at a desk 24/7.. knots in the back that need injections.. I ended up going to Austin to have an effective result at Seton. It worries me that Seton is supporting him in his endeavor to make more money. Get rid of him!!!

I showed up with a urinary tract infection and wanted a blood test in addition. I was warned (I told them I am unemployed and had no insurance) that the fees would be around $120. I agreed to that fee and paid it on the spot. A few weeks later I received a bill from the lab for $442.50. So all I say is do not expect the quoted fees to be the end of things... frankly I have had great luck in Texas as an uninsured client willing to pay cash upfront, this is my only letdown to date.

Bastrop County Medical Associates is not a very pleasant place for health care. The offices are very unattractive, staff is most unfriendly, and they seem to require more appointments than necessary for minor issues. My advice: Keep looking.

Requires three appointments to complete an annual check up. Office is very unattractive. Staff is less than helpful. Definitely would not recommend.

Let me just say this, one hour wait, he spent fifteen minutes with me, and when I left I was in tears. He is arrogant and rude. He had the door to the room open while talking to me, but when he went to examine me, he shut the door, without an attendant being present. He then saw how upset I was and ran from the room. I had to give him one star in order to leave the review. But he does not even deserve one star.

This is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. I have no clue how he stays in business. Went in with concerns over chronic bladder problems and he told me "women don't get bladder cancer" after I expressed that as a concern. I was doubled over in pain and he informed me that he was not permitted by the state to prescribe any type of pain meds and then proceeded to prescribe me three antidepressants that interact with my current meds. After researching, this man has had many actions taken against him by the state. With his conduct, I don't see his practice lasting. He was also cold and condescending. I left in tears and what I should have left with was a simple referral to a urologist. BEWARE.
