Dr. Rajeev Tummuru, MD

Dr Tummuru took care of me in the hospital as i was admitted with severe GI problem. He intervened and made adjustments in treatment as needed thru different diagnostic tests. His attention to detail and his experience got me on the right path. He explained everything to me in the hospital, and when i saw him 5 days after dischg. He explained the need for further treatment and how the medication will work, how he will assess and evaluate my response. I feel so safe with Dr Tummuru. Also his staff were wonderful. They also made my visit nonstressful!!! Great to have this support when you get a scary diagnosis! I walked out saying to myself.....I GOT THIS!!! Thank you Dr Tummuru!!

Dr Tummuru is a very kind person who listens to his patients concerns and treats them with respect and compassion. His bedside manner is very kind and gentle.

Dr. "gave me his word" he would consult with his peers, as my case was one he'd never seen before; also stated to call if I did not hear back--rude office staff stated: "you'll have toi take that up with your primary; who only recd. communique to repeat the tests in five years. A patient rep of sorts phoned and asked how my experience was--I politely and respectfully stated I was very disappointed in this Dr. the nurses at Ascension were right on but he almost denied my symptoms, and supposedly they retaliated by informing the primary they would no longer treat me. Ps. why is Erika Degaynor getting away with perforating cononoscopy patients; this is 2021 not 1948--no doubt will be more retaliation and bullying by their staff. Avoid avoid and avoid.

Dr. Tummuru is easy to communicate with. He shows interest in your comments and concerns and takes time to answer questions.

Dr Tummuru is great. His office staff of schedule people and a lady named Bernie were absolutely horrible to me. They screwed up my procedure date, promised me a quick re schedule time, never heard from them again!! I went in after several weeks and they said they had no idea what I was talking about. Dr Tummuru needs to hear this!

Dr. Tummuru took the time to listen to all of my issues and discuss all possible treatment options. Very thorough and knowledgeable.
