Great doctor if you do not have any health conditions that is beyond hypertension and high cholesterol. Heaven forbid if you have any complications or any other health problems besides what is listed above. Walia is poor in communication, continuity of care and will continue to avoid you by hiding behind his medical staff. Hoping the patient will just “drop the problem” or disappear. He is unaware of the resources that he provides and tries to play it off by being very vague and dismissive. Would not recommend if you are newly diagnosed or currently being worked up. He is very inexperienced in a lot of diagnostic studies for work up.

Great Doctor. Staff could use customer service training. Almost always in terrible moods and rude.

My whole family and I have been seeing Dr. Walia for several years. Even though my insurance has changed, I am willing to pay extra to stay within his care. I feel that he really listens us, tries to understand the entire situation and never rushes through the appointment. He makes all of us feel completely at ease, including my two-year old son and my elderly, difficult grandmother! He follows through on everything, including all referrals. Despite having lots of patients, he will squeeze us into his schedule last-minute if we really need to see him. We've referred him to several friends and they all come back to thank us for it!
