Dr. Rajendra Kumar Nigam, MD

2 months ago my appt was cancelled a few hours before as Dr Nigam was in India, and not on an emergency visit. Today I arrived for a 10:45 appt to find the 10:15 appt still waiting and that the Dr still had not arrived for the day as 'he is always late' per the receptionist. My time is important too! When we did see him he was very short in his responses, told me to cut back on my dosage on my own to see what works best, and in a big hurry to play catch-up as he was now behind in his appointments. Never again!

I am extremely disappointed with western pa psych! The staff was not only rude, but gave me incorrect information, that wasted my time and resulted in a 2+ week gap in my medications. When I finally did get to see the dr, he was difficult to understand and completely disagreed with everything that I said to him. He made me feel insignificant, uneducated and like a drug seeker! I have never had a drug problem, in my life! I was on medications for 3 years, after a very long list of medications that didn't work. I finally felt good, yet was told that they were wrong for me and I was misdiagnosed. I feel that this dr is too quick to give a text book diagnosis and does not listen to patients. When he decided that I would not agree with him and go on a medication like those that I have been on in the past, with no relief of symptoms, he then told me that he would not see me as a patient. I feel that he tried to manipulate the conversation, by asking me if I had symptoms of depression, yet he… didn't ask me a single question for the diagnosis that he questioned.

This office is a joke. My mother, myself, and 2 other people I know went to see this man. I have anxiety but nothing too extreme. My mother on the other hand has a couple of issues. This dr. Prescribes so much medication to his patients. It's ridulcous. My mother has been going to him for over 10 years. The only reason s because she hates change and didn't want to see a new therapist as well. He is extremely rude and just wants to shine medication at you. He rushes you and is just not friendly. Doesn't listen. Go somewhere else please.

Please don't bring your loved ones to this man. He is terrible. He is rude and obnoxious. Please please don't go and see him

Dr Nigam was great. Best Dr I've ever seen. Felt very comfortable with him. And with his diagnosis as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone with depression. .anxiety issues .

Ive been a patient of Dr. Nigam's for probably 10 years, He has been a life saver for me! I highly sudjest anyone to see him!
