Save yourself a co-pay. This is not a pain management clinic; it's a rehab clinic with a focus on lucrative surgery. First they took my $, next they drug-tested me and finally when I saw the "dr" I was told the only recourse was invasive and that I would be subject to random drug tests like a druggie! All this and I never once asked for pain meds.

Dr. Patel is pretty nice and down to earth. However, the office is horribly run. I waited over 45 minutes once - just to pick up a prescription refill! I wasn't even seeing the dr. that day AND I called ahead to have it ready. Twice I have had to leave an appointment because the wait time had gone over 45 minutes. There is only one girl running the front desk, which is not enough to handle so many unhappy and impatient clients.

I avoid the Austell office at any and all costs. Overcrowded, harried, unfriendly staff for the most part. The Douglasville office has the best personnel; caring and friendly. Dr. Lott, Dr. Parhti and Dr. Patel spend the amount of time you need with them and are compassionate. The only complaint, in my opinion, is "leah" in accounting in Austell. She is rude, inconsiderate and has the power to "let" you see the doctor based on past finances. I realize this is her job, but if your insurance has paid over $60,000 over the years and I cannot get my appointment due to a difference of opinion on ONE past payment....tells me that the $$$ comes before the patient. I AVOID AUSTELL. I'll stay in Douglasville anytime!
