My husband and I started seeing Dr Persaud when he joined the DeLand office. I had some chronic issues for which I had seen several specialists and PCPs with no relief. In my first visit with Dr Persaud he prescribed a treatment which solved my problem. My husband and I have both been extremely pleased with how Dr Persaud manages our care. After years of dealing with my primary care physician, 4 Neurosurgeons, 4 Orthopedic Surgeons and Pain Management I still continued to deal with the same chronic neck and bilateral shoulder pain for 6 years. No form of medication, injections, surgery, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture or cupping gave me any form of relief, I have suffered through years on 4 hours of sleep because the pain was relentless. In May 2019 my medical insurance change, I was completely unprepared and not at all excited about looking for a new set of doctors who would accept my new insurance (Humana). I did about a week and a half of research on who would be the best fit for me. I ran across DR. RAJESH A PERSAUD, MD. I had no idea what to expect and had no predetermined expectations.... After my first visit I was blown away he is an excellent listener and a exceptional doctor!!!!! I am highly sensitive to medication and refuse to take narcotics and he didn't ask, offer or expect me to. What he did… prescribe for me worked wonders on my pain level!!! I feel very thankful and blessed that my insurance did change and I got the opportunity to be his patient if I could give him 10 stars I would without hesitation!!!!

Dr Persaud and staff gives the best care anyone could want. He saved my life by finding and treating my heart and diabetes before it was too late. His staff makes you feel like family. He is very caring and knowledgeable . God bless him

As a 68 year old male I've had occasion to be treated by several doctors in a number of specialties. Some have been good, even great, while others were indifferent at best. On my first visit Dr. Persaud expressed genuine interest in me as a patient as well as a person. He carefully evaluated my condition and prescribed two medications. One was over the counter and the other pharmaceutical. After taking these meds my bloodwork results showed a marked improvement in two areas that will potentially help ensure a longer, healthier life. Thanks Doctor. I had surgery in Jacksonville and the next day felt terrible called his office had me come right in, never suggested that I needed to go back to the surgeon but treated me himself and I started feeling better right away.
