Dr. Rajesh Balvantsinh Solanki, MD

Dr. Solanky new my son since he was 4, 1/2 years old and care for him until he was 16. He looks like a good physician so I did not have any reason why to doubt his ability to care for both of my children. Unfortunately I was wrong not only he will rush us out of the office but make us wait for a long time. My son was misdiagnosed and but the time my husband and I got a hold of the situation it was little to late for my son. He suffered to the point we did not think he was going to make it. Fortunately we found a professional that guided us through difficult times and got my son out of this mess but not without scars. I hope one day doctor Solanky have a child and I will hope he or she is healthy otherwise I hope he remembers my son’s name for the rest of his life. I gave him a 1 star because there was not another option.

The Dr and staff at Pediatric Medical Associates are caring and helpful. My appointments are made before we leave each visit and the communication with everyone is easy. I do call and they always take a message, but the call is returned quickly from a nurse or office staff. My daughter loved Dr. Martin but Dr. Solanki has won her over also.

We had to move to NC and leave our kids doctor that we LOVED. I never thought I would be able to find another Pediatrician that I liked as much until we met Dr. Solanki. He has truly gone above and beyond for our family. My oldest son has Autism and he helped with all our referals and everything we needed. Our oldest daughter suffers with anxiety and he went as far as to get in touch with a therapist personally when we had trouble getting an appointment. He spent so much time with my kids each visit and really listened to us and we felt as if he truly cared! He has always been so friendly to my family. I know there are several bad reviews and even a few people that I know who said they did not have the best visit, but for us, we could not have been happier!

Dr. Solanki had the weirdest bedside manner we have ever experienced. His plan of care was very indecisive. We left feeling very uncomfortable and unassured. He is at a new location in Lincolnton, NC. We will be looking for a new doctor.

I really don't know where to begin, that is how awful this office is. It seems that no one knows what anyone is doing and no one knows how to read a chart especially medical assistant and nurse practitioner. I have been here four months with my son who is adhd and taking adderell and 3 of those months have been a total disaster from getting wrong dates of office visits, not setting follow ups correctly and not finding when follow up should be made to waiting over a week for my son RX causing him to go days with meds and he there for suffer in school and with headaches, to the medical assistant hanging up on me cause I told her she has her info wrong and dates wrong and apparently she was looking at wrong chart. No one knows who should be covering when a doctor is gone and my last straw was giving me the wrong dosage on his meds that if they just looked in chart correctly they would see it. I gave this office a chance even tho they have poor ratings and I wish I would have just followed… those rating and went some where else.

The office staff is horrible and I have to say as a new patient I'm already looking for a new doctor. The staff seems to be incompetent and needs to be trained in customer service. Refilling prescriptions has been a nightmare and dealing with the office assistants is nothing but a headache. Save yourself and family that experience and look else where for competent medical treatment.

Seriously how did this guy become a doctor? I came in a few days ago to the Wilmington location. My son had an upset stomach and his reccomendation was not neccessary. He's not that smart or bright. Weird in many ways and a total douchbag!! I would never reccomend him to anyone! He probably writes his own positive reviews here. Loser!

All my boys absolutely love dr. Solanki! he is an awesome doctor and although wait times can be a little long he has always taken the time with me and my boys in explaining everything that he is doing or going to do. and as for his follow up he has gone as far as to call me at night to check up on one of my boys who has been sick. we have been patient of his for the past 4 years and trust him 150â?¢/â?¢. awesome awesome Doctor. Although his clinical staff used to be better. We miss our original girl when we first began seeing him. much more personable than the ones with him now

I never intentionally make an appointment with this doctor, but unfortunately when we have to get worked in, for some reason we always get Dr. Solanki. I find him to be very condescending and his bedside manner is one of the worst I've ever encountered. Forget your feelings as a parent, if Dr. Solanki can't see it under a microscope he will completely blow you off and make you feel stupid with one of his many passive-aggressive comments. If you are looking for a doctor to give you a straight diagnosis and you don't have an opinion or feelings about your child's medical care, then this is your guy. If you are looking for a doctor that is the full package (good bedside manner plus medical expertise) then please see someone else in the practice - anyone else!
