Dr. Rajini Rani Iyer, MD

I love Dr.Iyer, but everything about my experience was horrific. I called over a week early to make an appt. I come in and check in after 45 mins, the receptionist tells me I’m not even scheduled. I waited over 2 hrs for my appt. People are walking in and getting seen before me. I’m very upset and disappointed with the service. Then the receptionist says you’re next & of course another lady gets called in before me. I would definitely not recommend coming here because of the unprofessionalism and staff. After this I’m finding another Dr. I am not the only pt who had complained about the wait or customer service. 2 other patients got up and left. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

i liked being seen for the first time at dr. iyers office i will totally come back again.

I love Dr. Iyer, her staff leaves much to be desired. I know that they are busy, but they tend to be short. Perhaps they should schedule a few less appts and handle the patients more calmly and caring. The staff is either in need of training or they need better organization in the office- it's hard to tell. I would change Doctors - but just can't as Dr< Iyer is great.

dr. Iyer is an excellent doctor but absolutely has the worst staff in the state of california. They refuse to make appointments as soon as possible the earliest they make an appointment is in 2 weeks. I once had to wait an entire month for my appointment. The staff is rude, and mostly inconsiderate. I'm thinking twice about whether or not I should come back.

I had spontaneous miscarriage,so i visited this doctor when i stopped bleeding,she dint even see me once,every time i went there,her nurse saw me n priscribed.moreover my blood is rh negative,so i had to take anti-D within 3 days,nobody listend to me,and i finally ended up developing RH antibodies,which is a great threat to the future babies..I would never ever suggest her to anybody.They never explain anything,doctor doesnt see u..why would anyone go to her.

After finding out I was pregnant, my Primary Doctor referred me to Dr. Iyer because I wanted a female doctor. Then, when I was 7 months pregnant, Dr. Iyer told me that she has decided to retire and will no longer be delivering any more children... WOW! She could have told me 5 months before on my first visit! This was so rude and insensitive. What makes matters worse is she replaced herself with a male doctor who has only been practicing for about 10 years and has very bad reviews himself... This is the worst situation I could have ever imagine. I'm having a child, I'm not having a root canal. I feel that she should have told me up front so that I could have changed doctors because after 7 months, my insurance wouldn't let me change. This was a horrible nightmare!

I would highly recommend Dr. Iyer to anyone who needs to have surgery, she has 30 years experience and really knows what she is talking about. I had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst and fibroids. She initially told me she would have to remove my ovary, but not only did she save it she left it in tact. I think she is very caring and tries to really save organs whenever possible, she is a great doctor. My overall experience was great at the hospital too, very friendly staff. Emily is such an attentive nurse that really cares about patients.

Dr. Iyer saved my life when other doctors and ultra sounds did not diagnose a problem. I had an eptopic pregnancy that she diagnosed and she did emergency surgery. She is friendly and listens to what her patient has to say. I recommend her to all my friends.
