Was assigned too care for my wife to address a complication from surgery. He decided he could not open up my Dialysis Access, so without my consent he went ahead and tied it. When her primary vascular surgeon on long island heard what happened, he told me that he could have opened it a different way- which he had done multiple times before. But, since he tied it off- it could not be salvaged. As this was her last place they could place a long term dialysis’s- it would ultimately end her life. While he had permission to endovascarly open up the vessel and remove the clot- he did not have her permission to ligate it. He tried to get consent signed after she woke up. With that said, he was a nice guy and he was attentive.

Great bedside manner. Was very attentive to my mom. Gave me his personal phone and was able to reach him with my concerns.

Took the time to explain my mothers condition, and what he tried to fix her problem. Found him to be extremely personable. Was very easy to communicate with, gave me his personal cell phone.
